CAF Spanish built class 195001 passing Frodsham Cheshire and in Northern Rail livery rather than the usual TfW colours, this being the first to arrive in the UK to replace Pacers in 2018?.
I have just done a little research on Northern and I have found that this is a service I didn't know about!, Chester-Leeds.
Wandering the forest, I found a small branch developing from the trunk of the mother tree. The forest has increased glowing as autumn leaves develop their golden and red colors. Along with the arrival of winter, plants and animals are halting activities. However, at the same time, the season between last autumn and winter, is the time of regrowth.

This is another shot of an old dilapidated barn that was supposed to have been torn down shortly after I discovered it a couple of years ago. When I visited the place again last month (March), it was still standing (despite some very strong gusting winds that kept blowing my cap off--which then I chased across the field on a couple of occasions).
There were some clouds in the sky on this trip, which I was very happy about. Spotty rain showers were in the area and the winders were blustery, making it feel rather chilly.

This will be the last one....for now...is this experiment. I still have much to learn and questions of how to accomplish certain things, but I'll learn. This is actually a mistake shot, but wasn't completely unhappy with the outcome. Figuring out how to capture moving objects (people in this case) while also shooting in low light. Grrrrrrrr! At some point I would like to get past shooting apparitions.

As the CZ sits during its unscheduled stop, on the adjacent Southern Pacific main, S6 1228 growls by with a cut of cars. The 1956 built ALCo is emitting a characteristic plume of smoke as it shoves by.

On 24th Febraury 1981, deposed from main line passenger work, 45022 (formely D60) heads an empty MGR past Elsecar Junction, taking a route that avoids the yard. It is probably from the exchange sidings at Cudworth to be re-filled at one of the local mines.

Possibly even paying a fortune to arrange two trains passing on a charter has now been lost in a riot of health and safety excuses. So here’s an image which relied on pure luck near Hatton North back in summer 1965.

An NKCR train departed Grant eastbound this morning to switch in Madrid, NE. It is now headed back west, passing by its headquarters. OMLX 421, a former Espee Tunnel Motor, is sitting at the shop. I was hoping it would be on the train today, but alas, it was not. OMLX 413 was used for today instead.

I went down to the well known Maeklong Railway Market, also known as Talat Rom Hup, hoping to get a passing shot of the train as it went through the market to its terminus station, Maeklong Station.
I did expect a big crowd at the market too trying to jostle for a good place too, but I was not expecting that huge of a crowd during Christmas season.
Alas, I felt that it was pointless to get a shot that many others had probably already done, and decided to go for the street shots of the passing market crowds and vendors instead.
Some of the shots that came out were great as I stood on the sidelines.
I must say though, this is possibly a crowd that looks rather too overdressed for buying groceries in the market I suppose?
