The CHCPTL got first dibs for working Midway on this morning and they are stretched out all the way down to the Commercial Lead at St. Anthony. The Portland Z is waiting back at Van Buren while the South Seattle Z is pulled up here at EBCS Midway anticipating a tailend setout. East Hump kept main 1 open for other moves, and following a CPKC train was TCW's St. Paul Turn.

Passing Storm ominous clouds and wind that resulted in no bad weather, shot in North Carolina.

A heavy shower passes while the other soft members of the group sat in the car staying warm and dry

A rare visitor to the bay.

Unfortunately only one fly past allowing a couple of average shots before disappearing over the headland.

There is story to be told, but I won't tell it to the walls.

This is another capture of the White-faced Heron flying low behind the reeds on that misty winter morning. It's got a completely different mood than the previous one, although the heron flew only a few meters further. I like the way the change of lighting can change the impression and reception of a photo.

13065 4MT Class 'Crab' LMS 2-6-0

In the afternoon gloom close to Nuttall Park, visiting 48624 and resident 13065 are paired together for a train approaching Ramsbottom in March 2017 on the East Lancs Railway.

Just passed Edward 1st Caernarfon Castle and Anglesey arms hotel by the harbour wall.

Taken with a slower shutter speed and converted to monochrome.

This all happens in a second !!! Maybe a bit longer if it happens to be a really big fish and the baby has trouble getting it down. This is a moment that the laughing gull wait for as they can grab the fish away for the baby.

Long exposure of the storm clouds passing by Canyon de Chelly in Arizona. The patterns in the clouds from the extended exposure are neat here in that they show the turbulence there in the air above the canyon and in the storm.
