It’s cheap and easy on the pocket. Like plastic, these boxes are durable, but unlike plastic, this material is environmentally friendly.
So @dollsahoy ‘s package for my birthday got here like 5 months after my actual birthday but I’m really excited cuz I’m a big glutton for doll clothes. I have zero passion for making them so it’s always fantastic having new stuff from Andrea haha.
Surprisingly there was also stuff from @ragamuffinsquad that Andrea included. That includes this Skipper Outfit (that I’m itching to debox for a Momoko), a few collector heads, Mother Gothel, Fashionista Ken and a whole bunch of factory clothes.
Andrea sewed up so many nice things and I already dressed a few dolls but there’s a bunch leftover.
Also she included The Asian Bowl but in miniature, a Maccas Witch and vintage Barbie toys, the AA Hiker doll and Eegee Andy.
Ahhhhhhhhhh im so sleep deprived but excited.
I decided to buy some clothes with the money I earned helping Papa in the kitchen. I love getting packages in the mail. No springy snakes, I hope!

The interior of the post office
For the second year in a row I created a Lego exhibition for Birkeland Foto. The store is a part of the mall Moldetorget and it's the oldest photographic store in Norway that's still in operation. My exhibition is on display in their window, and can be seen by everyone passing through the downtown main street.
Last year I used the standard Lego Holiday sets. This year, my approach was to use parts from those sets, but create my own models. The philosophy was to return to the good old Lego sets from my childhood, where you would see photographic examples of other things you could build with your Lego set. And that's what I tried to do and so I created my own Xmas street.
I did have to cheat and use parts from other sets too, but not that many. I'm sure you can spot those parts. In addition I used the Xmas tree that came with the Lego Toy Shop holiday set.
I've hidden quite a few nerdy and geeky references around town. Can you spot them? :-)
There's also a train running around the setup, but this photo album only displays the Xmas street. What do you think?
Went outside to find an enormous box on my front steps. An Easter care package from the sweetest gal in Ohio, @laurenetenaglia. Everything in here is wonderful. The main attraction of course, being her baked goods. Almond thumbprint cookies, which I opened and nearly messed my pants from the smell alone. A heavenly fruity marzipan aroma filled my nostrils. The Oreo cheesecake cookies equally aroused me. I can’t wait to eat em all. I haven’t been able to find those limited edition Bunches of Oats cereals anywhere, so I’m exited to have these! She also included some carrot cake rolls, wafers, and my favorite candy bar of all time, Reese’s Nutrageous (not to be confused with Reese’s new “Outrageous” bar 👎) I also absolutely love those cornbread crisps. They’re buttery and delicious. And then lastly, some gourmet milk chocolates. One of them is some bunnies on a motorbike. How cute. Thank you so much, Lauren. Happy Easter. DAY 01: Sabah Fantasy Delight Tour Package Program
Meet and greet at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and proceed for a halfday city tour— photo stops at the Tanjung Aru Beach, Signal Hill, Menara Tun Mustapha building , KK City Mosque / Chinese Temple followed by a visit to the Sabah State Museum and the Filipino Market . After that , transfer to hotel for check in. Free at own leisure after hotel check – in .
DAY 02: Sabah Fantasy Delight Tour Package Program
After breakfast at hotel , procced for a full day Kinabalu Park and Poring Hot Spring tour. On the way , stop at the Pekan Nabalu Fruit & Native Handicraft Centre . Upon arrival Kinabalu National Park , visit the exhibition hall . After lunch , proceed to Poring Hot Spring. There , enjoy a tree-top canopy walk and have a good time dipping in the Japanese-style bathtubs. Late afternoon , transfer back to KK and proceed for seafood shopping and DIY chocolate before transfer back to the hotel . Free at own leisure in the evening.
DAY 03: Sabah Fantasy Delight Tour Package Program
After breakfast at hotel, proceed for a day trip shopping tour to Labuan – Upon arrival , free at own leisure for half a day. Have a good time shopping for duty free liquor, cigarette, chocolates and so on. Late afternoon, arrive KK and transfer back to the hotel. Free at own leisure in the evening.
DAY 04: Sabah Fantasy Delight Tour Package Program
After breakfast at hotel , proceed to the jetty for a 15 or 20 minutes boat–transfer to Sapi Island, the most beautiful island in Kota Kinabalu. (Optional water sports such as parasailing , banana boat , jet skiing , kayaking etc are available on the island at own expense) . Seafood BBQ lunch will be served by the beach. After lunch, transfer back to the hotel. Free at own leisure till time for airport transfer for the flight home!

Postpakketjes; ik maak er, zoals de meeste PCT-lopers, regelmatig gebruik van.
De meeste Amerikaanse lopers maken voordat ze starten met de PCT al hun 'resupply' dozen al klaar (en dat zijn er héél wat), om ze vervolgens door iemand thuis te laten versturen op de juiste momenten.
Voor internationale lopers zoals ik werkt dit niet; internationale post is te langzaam, onbetrouwbaar en vooral véél te duur. Alternatief is lokaal eten kopen, en wanneer dit niet gaat lokaal kopen en vooruit sturen (in Washington is dit veelvuldig het geval, de route loopt daar door afgelegen gebied, er is weinig lokaal te koop).
Voor extra materiaal (warmere kleding, kaarten, regenkleding enz.) gaat dit wat lastiger; ik heb alles wat ik dacht nodig te hebben al van huis meegenomen, maar heb dit niet de hele route meegedragen (een ruime kilo kaarten...). Daar is de 'bouncebox' voor; een doos die lopers langs de route steeds doorsturen, om spullen uit te halen of in te stoppen wanneer nodig.
Vrijwel alle pakketjes worden met de USPS (de Amerikaanse post) verstuurd, soms gaat dit niet en wordt UPS of Fedex gebruikt (maar die zijn beide duurder). In sommige plaatsjes accepteert het lokale café of hostel pakketjes, maar vaak worden pakketjes als zogenaamde 'general delivery' pakketjes naar het lokale postkantoor gestuurd.
