Adam Maldonado taking a quick break as he catches his breath, Sunday, September 27, 2020. He tries to only take a quick break so he doesn't get overworked.
Currently painting this spring inspired country road. This is a 5x7" crop corner from the original. Lots more to do and even need to return to this corner for more fine tuning. Hopefully will have the finished piece completed within the day/week. I have to keep myself from overworking/ over thinking.

This site was emotionally difficult, but it is important to bear witness and educate. Genocide has repeated itself many times and history and goes on TODAY at this very moment. What are we doing about it?
1.7 - 3.5 Million people died from disease, overwork, and starvation. This number also include the 1.38 million people that were cruelly tortured and coldly executed in the genocide commited in Cambodia over the 4 year period of 1975-79.
The killing fields are the site of the mass graves men, women and children that were brought from the torture center at S-21 Tuol Sleng prison.

These are the warm flesh tones; cool ones to follow. Blooming from too much water I can understand, also the propensity towards orange if the red is too strong, but I assume by "overworked", Reid means a lack of visible granulation.

I overworked the sky a bit and simplified the tree, but I did achieve the feel of the reference photo I used.
I don't know what it is about Great Tits, but, when I take a picture of them they always seem to be overworked when , in fact, this is not the case. These two I think do not look like that, I hope
You can meditate just about anywhere. When you're feeling stressed, overworked or out of sorts, the practice might be the quickest path to relief. But, there are certain moments when it is just a little inappropriate, like when your head is aflame.

Karoshi, or death from overwork, is rife in Japan amongst young men. All over Tokyo you see men sleeping any chance they get and anywhere they can
The neighbor girl has finally decided that maybe it goes quicker, and is not really so bad, if she just goes ahead and helps our poor overworked daughter with her dishes chore.
Vegan Chocolate Chip Cookies- My first cookie baking experience! Look how beautiful they came out!
2 cups Brown Rice Flour
2 tsps baking powder
1/2 tsp.salt
cinnamon to taste (optional)
vegan chocolate or carob chips - put in as many as you like
1 cup raw sugar (turbinado #1, sucanat works too but sucks up a lot of the moisture)
1/2 cup canola or vegetable oil or Earth Balance
1 teaspoon vanilla
1/4 cup water
VERY IMPORTANT-make sure all ingredients are at room temperature. It will work if they're not at room temp but it works MUCH better if they are. Also while your oven is pre- heating put the cookie sheets you are going to use on top of the oven so they get preheated as well. Preheat oven to 350.
In a large bowl mix flour, baking powder, salt, cinnamon (if you choose). Add chips. Make a well in the center and set aside.
In a medium size bowl mix vegan sugar and oil/ Earth Balance. Mix it well. Add the vanilla and then add the water. Mix it well. Add the wet to the well in the dry. Mix it well but be careful not to overwork it. Add more chips if you need to. Spoon onto ungreased cookie sheets. Put them in the oven. Bake for 5 minutes and then flip and rotate the sheets.(top to bottom, and 180 degree rotation) Bake another 4 minutes and check them.
The cookies are done when they seem a little bit softer then you want them to be. They will harden up some as they cool. I usually go in two minute increments from here untill they get to where I like them.
Take them out when they are done and move them to wire cooling racks. If they split or come apart when you try to remove them let them sit on the pan for 2 minutes before transferring them to the racks.
Serves: almost two dozen
Preparation time: 15 mins?-10 to 12 cooking time
i haven't been a good car mama, and now my poor, overworked Scullymobile is having some issues. hoping that it's mostly minor, and doesn't cost me all my appendages. we'll see ...
The new Dunkin’—flanked by several hospitals—is ideal for sugar-rushing overworked doctors and other medical professionals or their diabetic patients.
The architecture is conventional, perhaps even typical. Not a distinct lack of happiness, the specimen was concentrating. Racooning due to overwork and underplay.
SB-600 with a double layer of bubble wrap affixed with elastic band, 2 feet above camera. High shutter-speed sync. I failed to get the top-wise falloff of the light... bubble wrap wasn't thick enough. Glasses did weird things to the light. Inspired by Yang article.
It looks romantic, but recently has drawn criticism concerning the condition many of the horses live in and how overworked they are, often in sweltering conditions during the tourist-driven summer season. In fact, a city bylaw to keep horses off the streets once temperatures exceed 30°C is apparently regularly ignored.
Kara Walker exhibit at the abandoned Domino Sugar Factory in Brooklyn. Kara Walker’s awesome and massive sugar sculpture – “A Subtlety” - AKA the Marvelous Sugar Baby. The sign on the wall of the factory notes: “A Subtlety” is an homage to the unpaid and overworked artisans who have refined our sweet tastes from the cane field to the kitchens of the new world on the occasion of the demolition of the Domino Sugar Refining Plant. Of course, the centerpiece of “A Subtlety” is the enormous female sphinx, created from white sugar. Also impressive are the basket-carrying children sculptures surrounding the sphinx. The children sculptures are made of resin coated in molasses. The sugar from the molasses has melted and pooled at the bottom and on parts of the figures.

I've had little to no free time over the last several months due to being overworked, hence the lack of photography posting. On top of my main job, I've been working with a few startups, including iGear accessories. Over the last several weeks I've played graphic designer, packaging designer, product designer & creative director for iGear as we ramp up for CES. One of the tall tasks for iGear was developing a sub-brand for the audio accessories category. We ended up on 385 Audio, and so this is the logo design I co-developed that will be show during CES 2012.
Little Lemon
Really happy to see this fella show up. I took a number of shots to make sure I captured his color and texture as it appeared. Not very big - like 8mm TL .That's less than 1/2" total length from head to toe. Depending on the size of your monitor screen, that's about the size of my first name on the bottom right portion of the photo.
Normally I wait for ID confirmation, but I think BugGuide's elves & wizards are overworked, underpaid, and probably out chasing bugs themselves! So ID is by me. PLEASE correct if I'm wrong. Also posted on BAMONA.

Messin around with new apps. Shot with slow shutter cam on iPhone processed in snapseed, Toonpaint, shockmypic, stackables , autopainter 2( felt pen), glaze, brushstroke, modern grunge hd processed all layers in superimpose. Personal opinion. Overworked !!! But I am learning.
First attempts with a #10 round brush after reading that the reason beginners' work sometimes looks overworked is that they use small brushes and work too small. Created from life. I like that it is more watery than my prior work.
Bullock's Oriole - male and 2 babies. Very insistent pleading for food in stereo! Poor overworked dad!
I can´t get enough of the paisley pattern! It´s just so brilliant in it´s form! And to add pearls or spangles would just be to overwork it...
Here we are, 3 weeks and 2 days in. Everyone is getting very active and very curious. The cage is starting to get very crowded as a result! Another week and we'll start thinking about separating the boys out and releasing them to good homes.
Jason bought that bedding, just so you know.
Still attempting to make friends with that awful paper that acts as a giant sponge. It helped to have a subject with a gentle, encouraging smile. I did get careless and then tried to fix my mistake which, again, led to disastrous overworking. Learn!
While the crust *looks* good, it was seriously overworked. Only 2nd or 3rd attempt at making crust from scratch. But the filling tasted FANTASTIC!

I thought I'd go back to black and white. I've not come across this photo of Sargent, so I thought It would be an interesting experience..I stopped for fear of overworking it.
Well, if you wanna hear some music
Like the boys all play
Hold tight, pass your foot
Don't let him carry it away
Well, don't let the heat overwork you
'Cause they play so loud

Horse drawn carriages are a popular attraction in the area around Monas (National Monument) in Jakarta. The huge crowds celebrating Indonesia's 60th independence day meant good business but very tired and probably hungry horses. The horse pulling the carriage right after this actually collapsed under the strain, but continued to run under the persistent hits of it's owners whip.
