Here we are, 3 weeks and 2 days in. Everyone is getting very active and very curious. The cage is starting to get very crowded as a result! Another week and we'll start thinking about separating the boys out and releasing them to good homes.
Jason bought that bedding, just so you know.
Still attempting to make friends with that awful paper that acts as a giant sponge. It helped to have a subject with a gentle, encouraging smile. I did get careless and then tried to fix my mistake which, again, led to disastrous overworking. Learn!
While the crust *looks* good, it was seriously overworked. Only 2nd or 3rd attempt at making crust from scratch. But the filling tasted FANTASTIC!
I've had little to no free time over the last several months due to being overworked, hence the lack of photography posting. On top of my main job, I've been working with a few startups, including iGear accessories. Over the last several weeks I've played graphic designer, packaging designer, product designer & creative director for iGear as we ramp up for CES. One of the tall tasks for iGear was developing a sub-brand for the audio accessories category. We ended up on 385 Audio, and so this is the logo design I co-developed that will be show during CES 2012.
I thought I'd go back to black and white. I've not come across this photo of Sargent, so I thought It would be an interesting experience..I stopped for fear of overworking it.
Well, if you wanna hear some music
Like the boys all play
Hold tight, pass your foot
Don't let him carry it away
Well, don't let the heat overwork you
'Cause they play so loud

Horse drawn carriages are a popular attraction in the area around Monas (National Monument) in Jakarta. The huge crowds celebrating Indonesia's 60th independence day meant good business but very tired and probably hungry horses. The horse pulling the carriage right after this actually collapsed under the strain, but continued to run under the persistent hits of it's owners whip.
Ah start-of-term, it's always good to get out of the office during this time to avoid getting overworked.

Day 7, sleep deprived, overworked, best i could come up with in the 2 minutes I had access to my camera.
And here it is. Three and half days of sleep deprivation, overworked and thoroughly demoralized, hours before impending failure on a micro exams...the obvious choice is to go against all personal reservations against getting anymore tattoo or body modification work done and give yourself a large and non-descript tattoo/ink rubbing.
can't come soon enough. Sorry this is late. Got my cap and gown yesterday and I'm absolutely exhausted. Overworked and underpaid. I have a good idea for today's shot, so I'll be doing that after work.

I felt ill from overworking and stayed home.
Sweater made by me. Headphones are Max Factory. Shoes are Barbie
I decided to do a little experimenting with a few shots I took a while back and work them into a HDR. It's, in my opinion, heavily overdone, but that's the experiment. I made two HDRs and wasn't happy with either of them so I combined them and overworked them a bit...
The Antibiotic lawyer California endured very sturdy as well as confident to the serving of the attorneys who are signifying such Levaquin attorney massive cumbersome of geographies. Sorry for not uploading! I got sick, and got nausea from doing pretty much anything. I felt like just sleeping the whole time, and now I'm just all behind on everything, god. I cannot wait until spring break. Even though it is only one week, I will try to get as much rest, and try to study and stuff. -sigh-. Thanks for reading this, if you did :).
Finals are coming soon and its not anything I look forward to. Last semester I didn't sleep for three days because of finals. Oh yes, dark times are ahead of me.
In case you were curious: I used a single 60 watt incandescent desk light low and behind the subject. I cupped my hands around the light to create a make shift snoot to give it a sort of spotlight effect. (Black paper works better because you dont burn yourself, but I didnt have any). I then held a white piece of paper low and in front of the subject angled towards the books to provide some fill light on the books. I just wanted enough fill so that you could read the books, but I didnt want to interfere with the fall off in front of the subject. Easy set up. It took only 5 minutes because, I should be studying after all.
I was looking for a fast way of visually demonstrating a situation. Simple, but still effective, or at least I think. You should try taking the five minute challenge sometime if you haven't before. You have 5 minutes to go from concept to finished photo.
Silhouettes: Dancing Medusa Cottonwood Tree
The Middle Tree,…..A silhouette of a Dancing Medusa Mythological Figure instantly stood out. This capture is a result of course of my somewhat overworked imagination 😜 A favorite tree of mine, it is handy to photograph in the late fall and early spring. During those times, where the sunsets changes as the sun migrates south. This gives it an angle that is hard to refute aligned with this location. It’s about 200 yards to those trees from my camera. Filed under imaginary creatures in the trees up here in the backcountry of the Wyoming/Montana borderlands. Title: Dancing Medusa Cottonwood Tree
Mythology Medusa:
Medusa was a normal but beautiful Mortal. She was unlucky enough for the Goddess Athena to punish her. Athenas punishment was giving her wings and snake like locks/hair. This along with her annoying ability to turn anybody that looked/gazed at any of her head even for a moment into stone. She is one of the monster figures called Gorgons by the ancient Greeks.
The Medusa was however the Only Gorgon that wasn’t immortal. You might remember Perseus in a legendary journey across the Greece to Medusa’s lair. So much for immortality lolol. That trip culminated with the head of Medusa being severed. It’s head later wielded by Perseus to save Argos from the “Kraken”. This encounter it turned the monster to stone. Perseus was rumored to have buried the head in the marketplace of Argos. I suspect it still lies there🤔
Classic Greek Mythology is certainly from the heads of those also with an active imagination. Hat’s off to those old boys 😀
On “Wyoming Backroads” (where I tend to work when the backcountry is blocked to me by snow.).. The roads are USUALLY open lol.
Location: Northern Campbell County Wy 4 miles from Montana, Wyoming/Montana borderlands.
Tired business woman at workplace in office, holding her head in hands. Overworking, making mistake, stress, depression concept
I am on my way to England to be with Ron at Christmas. I leave on Christmas eve. I pray that all of you have love and happiness at Christmas and that you can be with the ones who are most important to you.
I had great intentions for Christmas and ended up working over 100 hours this week.
I did not have a tree this year so I cheated at Bloomingdale's!
Mitch, tolerating Cora as usual, decided to stretch out those overworked belly muscles. (He must have ate too much)
Shadow shade water light sparkle quiet and time to stare. I"ve been working more than double time for the past 3 weeks and I'm taking a 3 day break in a few hours and going to Gulangyu Island. I'm not even going to think about teaching or scheduling a thing! A friend flew in last night and we are going to meet on Gulangyu, stay in 2 little quiet mini hotels and, both of us, recover from overwork. Looking forward to reading and walking. There will be wireless internet and want to catch up on your photos instead of all the 'posting and running' I've been doing lately.
Gulangyu is a fabulous mostly old and quiet place. No vehicles.
Montréal, Québec. It looks romantic, but recently has drawn criticism concerning the condition many of the horses live in and how overworked they are, often in sweltering conditions during the tourist-driven summer season. In fact, a city bylaw to keep horses off the streets once temperatures exceed 30°C was apparently regularly ignored. In 2019, this popular tourist attraction was completely discontinued.
Driving the back road between North Adams and Savoy, MA. It was lovely! And bright! And, amazingly enough, I didn't crash.
Overworked...underpaid...*sigh* With the economy the way it is, five dollars doesn't go nearly as far as it should. Poor ol' Abe is really feeling the strain, it seems.
I was unhappy being unable to reproduce one face several times realizing I was holding my breath, tight, trying to hard, overworking lines so I started to simply doodle... starting with the floral face in center, by the end the lower left face was a lot freer and the one on top of her was sketchy with pen no less...
My first acrylic painting. Trying my hand at this medium and I have mixed feelings about this painting.
It took me 4 days to reach this point and I could have certainly continued with it but I felt since I didn't have a plan of what I wanted to paint at the start of this painting it could have gone one until I really overworked it (it still does feel overworked at this point but I could have really mucked it).
I decided to buy a palette knife today and you could see the results of my enthusiasm with this tool . Entirely inappropriate but, like I said it's an experiment in acrylics.
