Graham & Ian arrive at the summit of Mealaisbhal. A mere 574m high, but proper wilderness all around... apart from the landrover track down the bottom (makes the walk out easier though)
Part of a road trip from Niagara Falls to Key West - taking the long route close to the Atlantic, so here passing through the Outer Banks of North Carolina.
This image was taken from Achmelvich (on the Scottish west coast mainland for those who don't know the area) towards the Isle of Lewis (or it could be Isle of Harris - I'm not sure which), which accounts for the fact it is so grainy. The Hebrides are approximately 40 miles from the place I took this shot. The hills looked so beautiful and I'd never seen them snow covered before, so it had to be done!

These are a few photos I took back in 1985 on the island of Vatersay in the Outer Hebrides off the coast of Scotland. I spent many holidays there from the age of twelve and it has an important place in my heart. In 1985 I finally plucked up courage to photograph a few of my friends there. These are some of those photos.
