SCT operate approximately 2 return trips a week between their Penfield Depot and Port Germein to exchange Adelaide loading from their 7GP1/3PG1 services. The loading is dropped off on a purposely built siding at Port Germein with shunts occurring when the GP/PG services arrive, any Adelaide bound loading from these services returns to Penfield whilst loading from Adelaide is exchanged and placed onto the train.

Late running SCT Shuttle service 4414S rolls through Long Plains with SCT010/SCT008 in charge of 17 wagons on Sunday the 24th of November 2019, a late running 7GP1 held up the return service, with these wagons and locomotives exchanged with the loading before forming the return service back to Penfield. The locomotives were replaced by CSR005/SCT013 which continued working 7GP1 towards Forrestfield.

Since last summer, RhB is operating a new peak hours shuttle service between Zernez / Susch and Scuol-Tarasp, offering a connection to the RE trains Landquart - St. Moritz in Order to serve the touristic and administrative center of Scuol half-hourly. As the rail infrastructure is not ready for that half-hourly service, the new service is operated by postbuses under "EV" tag ("Ersatzverkehr" or "Rail replacement service") although there is no information about if and when the new service can be operated by trains actually. The first morning service on workdays arrives Susch at 5:27, the bus is seen here waiting for the connecting train just arrived before heading back for Scuol. The vehicle will serve as ski shuttle bus in Scoul later on that day.

The Shiva Vishnu Temple of South Florida is a non-profit religious organization with a mission of operating a traditional Hindu temple based on Vaasthu and Agama Shaastra and imparting religious, educational, and cultural values to our community and future generations. In 1996 we embarked upon building a traditional Dravidian (South Indian) style temple under the guidance of chief architect, Dr. Ganapati Sthapati of Chennai, India, a well-known temple builder of international repute. The construction began in April 1999. Twelve shilpis (sculptors) came from Mahabalipuram, Tamilnadu, India in April 2000 and carried out the Indianization of the temple.

The main temple building has two Raja Gopurams (entrance towers) and two Vimana Gopurams (Towers) over each of the main Shiva and Vishnu Garbagrahas (Shrines). The total area of the temple is approximately 6200 sq ft. The temple ornaments and architectural style are of Chola, and Pandya dynasty (10th century) for Shiva and Parivar (associated) shrines, and Vijayanagara dynasty (12th century) for Venkateshwara and Parivar shrines. The Ayyappa shrine is built according to the Kerala style of architecture. The second building is the community hall which opened in April of 2001. It houses educational and cultural activities and is occasionally rented for private ceremonies to Temple members and devotees.

Mahakumbhabhishekam (sacred purification) and Pranaprathishtapana (consecration) of our temple were celebrated from November 23 to 25 of 2001 and the temple has been open to the public since then. We have four well-trained priests from India who perform daily puja services. The temple’s religious rituals strictly follow the Agama Shastras: Shiva agama for Shiva and Parivar devathas, Pancharathra agama for Vishnu and parivara devathas.

The temple organizes a number of religious services and celebrates major Hindu festivals throughout the year, which are open to the general public. Devotees have the pportunity to sponsor any of these religious services. The temple priests can also conduct specific religious services on behalf of devotees either at the temple or in their homes.

The construction of the temple was made possible with generous contributions from the members of our community. The temple is operated by revenues generated from services and donations. Your generous donation is always welcome

and is tax-deductible.

The final scans! This is one of a few slides - chosen at random - from the last batch I have had scanned. I saved then until last as I thought they were the most 'boring' :)

Now when I look at them they aren't quite so 'boring'!

I thought the Falcon 50 tai-jets were quite futuristic at the time, but now they're ancient - like me 😂

Lothian Buses operated Volvo B5TL Wright Eclipse Gemini 3 Stealth SF17 VNV - 484 - is pictured on Princes Street in Edinburgh with a service on route X26 towards Port Seton.

This vehicle wears a partially revised Lothian Fleet Of The Future livery, retaining the thicker diagonal gold outlines but with the gold hook on the sides removed. It carries Edinburgh Zoo branding in the form of being the Penguin Bus and requests you join the parade. Would you like to join the parade to Edinburgh Zoo? Well you'd need to ask the penguins where their parade starts from as I have no clue and I doubt they'd go along the entire bus route lol.

Stagecoach operated 2015 New Routemaster double-decker bus LTZ1361 in London red heading for Oxford Circus on 13th December 2024.

The original Routemaster bus was designed in the late 1940s and manufactured until 1968 when production stopped, mainly because their open back doors – which were one of the attractions for many Londoners – made them unusable by those in a wheelchair.

Operating 6G43 at Morpeth early this morning. Interesting to note a couple of what I’m guessing were previous loco numbers, one being ‘066-040’, and 66036 - any input would be appreciated. All the necessary safety items were observed when taking this picture.

The first Thameslink franchise operated by Go-Via Group had 40 of the original 60 class 319/0 sets. These units were rebuilt at Wolverton Works between 1997-98 where first class accommodation was incorporated. The units were dedicated as "Cityflier' sets for use on the Bedford to Brighton route serving Luton and Gatwick Airports and the City on London hence the choice of name. Ironically the later built class 319/1 sets operated by Thameslink which were built with first class accommodation were overhauled at Wessex Traincare, Eastleigh Works and lost their first class becoming 'City-Metro' sets dedicated to the Luton-Sutton-Luton suburban service. The paper dart logo on the unit end (set 319 443 on the right) denoted the end the first class accommodation was located.

The different paint scheme on the pair seen here in Selhurst cleaning shed belies the fact unit 319 449 on the left had been involved in the Spa Road Junction collision on 08/01/99. It spent over a year out of service stored at Selhurst Depot where it was eventually rebuilt and returned to service in late May 2000. The observant will notice the Bletchley destination which was an aspiration of the the Network SouthEast empire of British Rail and never came to fruition as the line still isn't electrified. Another destination on the 319 blinds which was never reached was Corby.

For the record 319 449 is stabled in Selhurst Cleaning Shed waiting for the evening peak while on the right stands set 319 443 waiting to form 5O91 the 14.10 ECS to London Blackfriars.

The Bund is a waterfront area and a protected historical district in central Shanghai. The area centers on a section of Zhongshan Road (East Zhongshan Road No.1) within the former Shanghai International Settlement, which runs along the western bank of the Huangpu River in the eastern part of Huangpu. The area along the river faces the modern skyscrapers of Lujiazui in Pudong. The Bund usually refers to the buildings and wharves on this section of the road, as well as some adjacent areas. This region has a significant European influence, with the style of many structures most comparable to that of European cities, particularly Gothic, Baroque, Neoclassical, Romanesque, Art Deco, and Renaissance architecture. Additionally, some of the city's top eateries are located there. From the 1860s to the 1930s, it was the rich and powerful center of the foreign establishment in Shanghai, operating as a legally protected treaty port.

Another picture taken on my visit to the Co-op Dairy on Midland Road, Cladmore, Walsall in December 1986.

R.13 I recall being told, was one of the 2-ton Simths Electric floats operated by the Dairy, this one dating from 1965. These 2-ton floats seemed substantial vehicles for the task with their double-wheeled rear axles. The deeply inset, narrow track front wheel arrangement looked at odds with the overall dimensions of the float, but still made for a stable platform.

Beyond the Dairy's fence, on the other side of Midland Road is the Walsall Lithographic Company Works. Built in the 1930s, it became the town's biggest printers, offering bookbinding, varnishing, hot-metal typesetting, letterpress printing, cutting and creasing, die-cutting and gold blocking services amongst others. However, with cheaper overseas printing becoming more widely available in the latter years of the Twentieth Century, the Walsall Lithographic began to lose business and the footing it once had. Sadly, the business was dissolved in the early 2000s and ceased trading. The factory's machinery and printing equipment was sold off and the buildings demolished in 2009. You won't be surprised to learn that housing now stands on the site of the former printing works.
