Muscle Car Masters 2015, Sydney, Australia

Went up to York today. Heard some sirens, then a big bang.

Cycle Speedway produces thrills and the occasional spill !

Thankfully no injuries occurred in this instance.

oops, danbo fell in a hole....

We had a delivery today … more knitting wool for me … and the chap who delivered it had a crisis in his car when leaving … several of the Hermes packs he was due to deliver tumbled over onto him in the driving seat and he 'bumped' into our fence, thus damaging not only our fence, but his car, poor man! By heck, it was a mighty crunch and the car was absolutely stuffed with packages still to be delivered!

Anyway, we gave him cup of tea and waited for the rescue to come.

Now we've just got to repair the fence! 😂

Mind you, I'm quite pleased with my wool! 😁

my friend's dark mark

Like this young Kestrel who is learning to hunt and dropped it's bug, I dropped the ball and realized I was not using the right settings with my new camera. The ones I used this morning were recommended by Photographer Steve Perry and seemed to be a better match for my needs, but I will explore other setting also.

I was surprised this Kestrel was eating these bugs as I recall they can be rather sticky when handled. One of it's sibling quite delicately ate its bug.

Waves whipped up by the remnants of cyclone Winston make for interesting surfing conditions along the North Coast.

I'm sure that years ago crashed vehicles were usually recovered within a day or two, but this has lain here for weeks. It's a strange accident as it's on a fairly straight piece of A road that people don't normally speed on. My knowledge of modern cars is such that I don't know what it is...

The signalman at Ashton Junction phoned the TOPS Office at Bristol to say the mercedes on the rear seemed to have had a bump, we were never sure if it had been a RTA., or a rough shunt. I went down onto the platform to photgraph it as it passed through Temple Meads, 37178 was the loco working the trip from Ashton Junction to Lawrence Hill, 3/7/81

Oops!! This is not a church, it's a plumber shop! :))

Pavement Palaver in Penge.

Four days of worrying about a derailment and a train flying off the table. The entire show nothing happened.

Time to pack up then. Let's start by pulling the adapters. Oops, there was a steam engine attached to that one...

And of course that was not the one that is in need of some redesign. Murphy's law.

I accidently detonated a thermonuclear device west of Phoenix.

Meters only work if you remember to change your settings.

For Were Here's visit to Oops!!! on 26 March 2022.

I was tempted to take a shot of the menu in the pub where we had lunch yesterday: several dishes included "leaves" though a similar number featured "leaf's". In my view menus should be consistently wrong or not at all.

Just another from a great night of shooting with Alexandra.

I needed white Britney to complete the Oops! video trifecta and hallelujah I found her! I always wanted her loose but original body does nothing for her so a simple body swatch from St. Barbie and she is now (almost)perfect!

this little girl is sooooooo cuuuuute

*squee* she's worried about my dolly fund condition tho ^^;;;; cos there's only been out and hardly any "in" =_=

Still getting the hang of the Russian twin reflex.

On the theme of eggs.

Young Burrowing Owls are very playful near the nest. These two had been skirmishing on the ground before the one on the left rolled over. It laid on its back for several seconds looking a little perplexed. Or perhaps it was just intrigued by the new perspective. Attempting to get back up it rocked forward then fell back down. Finally, on the second try it rocked far enough to right itself again. May 8, 2016

Oh dear i seem to be showing a little underwear, Tease !!!

I have had a great time shooting through the viewfinder of my Kodak Duaflex III. I use my digital camera with a macro lens looking down the contraption I made about 14 inches tall taped to the Kodak and there you have it.

The only thing I did to this image was crop it to keep just a tad of the Kodak viewfinder frame showing here. All the dirt and spots are natural. They are on the glass and even inside of the Kodak. I'm sure I picked up a bit of this debris walking around in a dusty area.

Thankfully no one was injured, the other car was a student driver...

Happy Wiener Wednesday!

I always wait until I'm on my own in the bar before taking photos. A bit embarrassing to be pulling my best pout just as someone walked in, mid selfie! :-)
