For Were Here's visit to Oops!!! on 26 March 2022.
I was tempted to take a shot of the menu in the pub where we had lunch yesterday: several dishes included "leaves" though a similar number featured "leaf's". In my view menus should be consistently wrong or not at all.
Bamburgh was playing with the beads thatMonkey and Timmy sent but they were heavyand he fell over! Oops.
Despite the most committed and rigorous efforts, the new partner remained strangely unresponsive.

Light painting, also known as light drawing is a photographic technique in which exposures are made usually at night or in a darkened room by moving a hand-held light source.
I had someone else take this, but he failed to realize that my camera delays two seconds before taking the picture (to cut down on camera shake), and pulled it away just as it shot the picture, resulting in this.

Overcast skies, around twenty (about room temp).
Impressions of a bygone era. The authentic Viking village was built in 2010 at the foot of Mount Vestrahorn in southeast Iceland for a movie that never was filmed. Over time, these weather-beaten buildings become more real as wind and rain take their toll on this unique backdrop. Located between the ocean and snow-covered peaks
We're Here opening umbrellas. Unfortunately, caught in the garage door. Fortunately, caught on camera!

ME AS ARTWORK ..not done by Keith Haring; Andy Warhol or Rembrandt... just a sketch...
NEW YORK CITY
This photo is part of a set taken during an outing to the town of Guardamar in Spain. The adventure began at the seaside, then moved up through the town, ending not far from the starting point. In this series, I tried to capture the atmosphere of the town between 10am and 1pm.
I used the Fuji Classic Negative style on my X-Pro3, trying not to make too many corrections in post. I find that this style gives a mood quite close to what I felt walking through the streets of this city.
As for the lens, I used the Voigtländer Nokton F1.2 X, which is purely manual. This lens blends perfectly with the X-Pro3 body in terms of size and look. Using a manual lens forces me to give more thought to the composition of my image, and in particular to the focus zone. Some photos were also taken using the zone focusing technique when shooting people in the street.

I always wait until I'm on my own in the bar before taking photos. A bit embarrassing to be pulling my best pout just as someone walked in, mid selfie! :-)
