I discovered this group of trees last fall and they fascinated me so much that I had to visit them again this fall...

About three weeks earlier than last year I think (hello climate change) but of course a traditional 'must' visit this time of year and it never disappoints! The smells alone in the woodland are fantastic, let alone the gorgeous bluebell display stretching as far as you can see.

今年飄洋過海來看他~ 真的是抽中上上籤，也是下下籤~(苦笑)，好不容易遇上了他難以捉摸的滿開期間，卻也遇上了他脾氣最壞的一次，千年偌大的枝幹，只含蓄的盛放了一小一小叢的彼岸櫻，連一旁當地的攝影前輩歐基桑，也默不著頭緒的納悶著，怎麼今年這麼反常~

其實，我單純覺得，櫻花爺爺生氣了吧，連續好幾年的開花期間都沒日沒夜的被強光照著，所幸今年就罷工了.....(.不是炎X倫的隨便猜測ING)

Eine der schönsten Hutebuche die ich kenne in der Rhön.

One of the oldest trees in our northern Illinois township against last night's sunset. An arborist who was studying this old tree many years ago, felt it was seeded at the time of the Civil War....

I don't know the story of this chimney but, it's in the middle of the forest at one of the walking paths at the park. Look like it was from a very old house from the 1800s or 1700s. I really don't know.

Stone Mountain State Park is a 14,351-acre (58.08 km2) North Carolina state park in Alleghany and Wilkes Counties, North Carolina in the United States.

Llyn Dinas is a lake near Beddgelert, Gwynedd in north Wales. It is formed by the River Glaslyn. Llyn Dinas lies on the valley floor a few miles north of Beddgelert at an altitude of about 55 metres above sea level. It has an area of 60 acres and is fairly shallow, with the maximum depth only 10 metres.

……A very familiar walk for us at Attingham Park (N/Trust) but this time through a new route across the estate - the normal path being cut off because of mud apparently! So it was nice to see new parts and new trees - well old trees but new to us!!! Shot on my phone in Apple RAW & edited in Lightroom. Alan:-)…….
