カラーはブラックとオフホワイトの２種。
少し厚めの生地ですがこれからでも重宝しますよ～

This little lady needs a new camera. ANYWAYS. Potholders and mandala doily-esque coasters for me mum.
Asked her what she wants for her birthday, and you know how moms get, she said; I already got everything I need just be happy maybe crochet me something I love you.
I bought her a real gift as well, don't worry.

One of the main things we wanted to do to our manufactured home when we first moved in was to update the windows. It came with fairly nice, vinyl, double pain windows, so we kept them. What we wanted to get rid of was the awful laminate pressed-wood casing and trim on all the windows. So, we ripped out all the trim and pressed-wood, replaced the interior framing with wood, and installed solid maple wood sills, stained pecan, and finished with four coats of semi-gloss poly. I then cased the the windows with traditional 3 1/2" casing trim, and we then painted all except the sill the oyster bay white semi-gloss that we've painted all of our crown moulding, baseboards and wainscoting. The before picture was taken this Christmas, and you can see that after the updates the windows have a much more substantial, warmer and charming look. The walls have also been refinished and painted a dark color than before, called Cliveden Gray Morning. The windows will be dressed with a nice country check, traditional valance and white 2" faux wood Levelor blinds mounted inside the frame.

I used to blog about the hobby years ago on livejournal but I didn't have the time and energy to keep it going. This time with the new year, I have decided to give blogging another shot. :) I've always admired dolly owners who blog about their little crafts and work-in-progresses!

A new design! Yay! I love the texture and scale of Hunny (the stitch pattern reminds me of a honeycomb). Wear unbuttoned as a scarf, button up as a cowl/shoulder warmer, twist and button, the sky's the limit!
