christmas gift for grandma, so she can bake and be close to Amiko. ;]
My dolly and craft blog was born this afternoon! Hurrah~
Check it out here (proper decorations not completed yet): lovesprung-pf.blogspot.com/
^These cute little lace-trimmed shorts are for the upcoming release! ^^=
I used to blog about the hobby years ago on livejournal but I didn't have the time and energy to keep it going. This time with the new year, I have decided to give blogging another shot. :) I've always admired dolly owners who blog about their little crafts and work-in-progresses!
Enjoy~
A new design! Yay! I love the texture and scale of Hunny (the stitch pattern reminds me of a honeycomb). Wear unbuttoned as a scarf, button up as a cowl/shoulder warmer, twist and button, the sky's the limit!

This coyote is unusually light in color. It is a taxidermy specimen on display at the Caesar Creek State Park Visitor's Center in Warren County, Ohio.
A hunk of clay, the possibilities are endless, with someone who is an expert in ceramics. ;) Since I am learning, the possibilities were limited to a mug, cylider, or bowl. I chose bowl!
I forgot to photograph the first step, wedging the clay, at first this fairly round blob was a block of clay. It is wedged (almost rolled) on a table to get it to this consistancy.
At night, just to improve a bit my self-esteem.

Here is what I think is the fun part. :D
Whoever comes up with the best name for the bowl will win the bowl! I will pack it up super carefully, and ship it if needed. I will be the judge of the names, and will choose my favorite name a week from today. Good luck!
One entry per person please, just to keep it fair. (added after Lovebottom's question)
EDIT 2006-06-13 16:57 I have chosen my favorite name of the suggestions (at the risk of being disowned or fired!), thank you all for them, they are quite good, and it made it really hard to choose!!! Congratulations to Noel in PEI for his name, it was quite creative and rhymie! Don't worry if you didn't get picked, I've got lots more things to make. ;)

i take no credit for this shot... it was for a series of photos that my brother and a friend of his put together for the band explosive bear... and seeing as fully clothed people in bathtubs was on my mind today, well... you get the idea :)
