I don't know if the parrot was pissed-off or not but he definitely showed a lot of attitude for this shot. Some guy had this bird and a blue-green parrot hanging out on the boardwalk near Belmont Park.

My grandfather served in the 331st Aerial Photo Lab and was stationed at the Pantanella Air Base near Gioia, Italy during World War II. He left behind boxes of photos like these, and now I'm trying to fill in the details. In a few hours, I'll be Inshallah taking off from LAX to Cairo via Paris / Romania. It's the first time I've ever left the country (because Canada doesn't count) and I'll be staying for nearly five months as an international student.

The hallway in the storage facility that holds most of Scott's belongings now, as well as some of mine. It's slight off-centre, but I like the way the workmen at the end of the hallway worked themselves into the photo while the local rock station blasted in the background.

The brake hangers were NOT for coming off, even with our biggest power bar all I achieved was rounding nuts. With much regret the grinder was used and the hangers cut off adding to the parts bill. This has now exposed the damaged hanger, Check out that anchor pin!...
Crap weather, crap traffic trying to get into town, this is the only photo i have taken for ages (feels like ages).
Back in the 1980's I was a massive fan of the band "The Police" and saw them on their Synchronicity Tour in 1983 at Queen's Hall, Leeds.
This snare drum is a tribute to the band. The shell was custom made and is 2mm thick Stainless steel. The 20 off lugs were also custom made and are also made from Stainless Steel. When I purchased them, both the shell and lugs were plain, so I decided to put the 5 album covers on the shell and put 20 song titles from those albums on the lugs. The graphics are all laser-etched.
It also weighs a bloody ton.
Kids - this is what we had before everyone had a cell phone. It was called a pay phone. And no, you could not send a text with it.
