Everywhere you go in Paris you find newlyweds being photographed - it would be such a waste not to steal the odd picture

BANGUINGUI, SULU, PHILIPPINES - In line with the general purposes of Odd Fellowship to spread Friendship, Love and Truth, five volunteers of the Independent Order of Odd Fellows (I.O.O.F.) helped with the "All-in-One Mission" organized by the Philippine Marines MBLT-1 and the Mindanao Humanitarian Volunteers for Peace On June 21-24, 2018. The mission consisted of several philanthropic activities aimed at providing services to the residents of Banguingui, Sulu: Football for Peace, Feeding Program, Medical Mission, School Supplies Donation, Dancing and Singing, Magic Tricks and Jokes with the Children.

The Odd Fellows distributed 200 packs of school supplies and 100 snacks for the children. One Odd Fellow nurse assisted in the medical mission. Others performed magic tricks and jokes which brought smiles to children. The overall goal of the outreach program is to help remove the stigma towards Sulu and to help promote peace in the area especially between Christians and Muslims. The project coincide with the goal of Odd Fellows to help make the world a better place to live by aiding each other in times of need and by volunteering in or organizing charitable activities and projects that would benefit the less fortunate, the children, the youth, the elderly, the community and the environment in every way possible guided by our ancient command: “to visit the sick, relieve the distress, bury the dead and educate the orphan”. And to promote goodwill and understanding among people and nations through the principle of universal fraternity, holding the belief that all men and women regardless of race, nationality, religion, social status, gender, rank and station are brothers and sisters.

The Cars Collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco

At the end of the 1950s, the car enthusiast Prince Rainier III began collecting old cars. His collection gradually grew over the years as he acquired more and more models, and the garage at the Prince's Palace soon emerged as too small to contain this collection of around a hundred stunning streamlined and sporty cars, from majestic body work to gleaming hoods and regal radiator grills!

In 1993, Prince Rainier III therefore decided to open his precious collection to the public.

Located on the Terrasses de Fontvieille, the exhibition spans 5 000 m2 and is unique in the world, bringing together around a hundred-odd different cars, from a 1903 DE DION BOUTON to the 2013 LOTUS F1 via HISPANO SUIZA, ROLLS ROYCE, LINCOLN, FACEL VEGA, DELAGE, DELAHAYE, PACKARD, HUMBER, NAPIER, FERRARI, MASERATI, LAMBORGHINI, ALFA ROMEO, the LEXUS used for the royal wedding in 2011, and without forgetting the racing cars seen at the Monte Carlo Rally and the Formula 1s from the Monaco Grand Prix.

The Car Collection of H.S.H. the Prince of Monaco will host a unique exhibition of Ferrari vehicles from 3 December 2018 to 15 March 2019.

Founded by Enzo Ferrari in 1947, in Maranello in Italy, the cars with the prancing horse have left their mark on automobile history on road and circuit. Manufacturer of race and sports cars, Ferrari quickly became an automobile benchmark, both technically and aesthetically.

At this exhibition, unique, around 50 of competition and sport cars, the most iconic of the brand, which built the Ferrari legend and which millions of fans dream about, will be brought together in the Principality for four months.

They look nothing like British police, so it wouldn't surprise me at all if they actually were.

The face is largely due to the parade of bin men (you can see one behind me) that arrived at 06:00 am on the beach.

An odd genre of magazine, Battling Girls. In a school of magazines including Aggressive Women, Amazons in Action and Fighting Females this is an enduring niche in the magazine market. For real.

At first I thought he was tangled in a twig, then I thought a rival lizard's tail had broken off in a fight, but the whole thing appears to be his. Maybe he had a conjoined twin and they were attached at the tail?

An odd little ad in Popular Mechanics. Either the PR guy didn't see the movie or he doesn't read Popular Science because the Scientist in the movie, played by Robert Cornwaithe, is the bad guy. Literally the egghead with goatee who wants to reason with the giant carrot who, if memory serves, was also a vampire?

The TRB here is quite odd in that trains passing the box in the same direction are entered on opposite sides of thebook.

In the Line column in the centre of the page the enteries are thus...

On the Down side

M : Roxton - Brock'.

IB : Immingham to Brock'

MN : Main to New Holland

On the Up side

M : Brock - Roxton

BI : Brock - Immingham

NM : New Holland - Main

Thus the freight from Immingham to Brock and the Barton from Goxhill to Roxton both pass the box heading south but appear on opposite sides of the TRB.

When you don't come here too often as I didn't I always had to keep reminding myself....

Left was RR and right was BB,

i.e. the left hand page, the Down was for trains from Roxton and Reception,

Trains on the right hand page, the UP were for services being passed from Barton and Brocklesby.

Right then, time to keep catching up. Following on from my last Barnetby East on Saturday 19th I was not required Sunday and was booked Rest Day on Monday & Tuesday but that didn't last and I found myself working my two rest days at Ulceby Junction, both night turns.

in both instances I relieved Ulceby resident Steve Arnold and was taken off in the morning by long time resident Johnny Branker.

In between times I took a couple of external shots of the box and the TRB was recorded using my iPhone.

All shots taken overnight Tuesday 22nd December into Wednesday 23rd December 2015 and Ulceby Junctions penultimate day.

Made with Huawei G700 and Instagram app.

While waiting at the appointment in Santa Rosa, CA., I managed to get my camera out for a few shots. This is one of Santa Rosa City Bus's Cutaways seen in the 24000 series, placed right before the 2011 New Flyer's.
