I've been so inspired by all the wonderful images on 365project and decided to try something a bit different for today's shot. My original concept was just to try an arty shot of eggs but we only had 5 and then I spotted the soft ball. It all then just came together - often the case I find!

Active Assignemnt Monthly for January 2010: Odd Man Out
This is my FIRST monthly submission, so I apologize if I do anything wrong.
My son is eating a lot of organic foods so we have these cool brown eggs in the house and I thought it would fit the assignment perfectly.
WIT: I used incoming daylight and tried different apertures to get the DOF I wanted. I liked this one best. I upped contrast an added a vignette in Lightroom 2

With this series of snaps I'm beginning to work toward doing less post processing of my images and getting closer to what comes out of the camera. Minimal or no editing (other than cropping) was done to these images using Luminar 2018. My goal is to reduce the amount of time spent on the computer, or maybe move the whole process to my iPad. It's a learning process but I'm enjoying it.
