I did this last year and it's the first one I did. I only recently just did my "real" third. (Technically fourth but one was sloppy and rushed and just for fun so I don't count it :p)
So yeah I discovered I actually can draw people xD

well its the morning after the night before....and we managed to find a place that served us vodka martinis.....so three of those later and we're off to see the film.
As expected, i sat there with a massive grin on my face for the whole time. I don't want to say too much about the film, or my opinion....i'd rather hear what you guys think....so if you have seen the film, please let me know your opinion.

The old Odd Fellows Hall was constructed on the corner of 12th and Chapline Streets in 1859. From 1863 to 1870, the building served as temporary quarters for Linsly Military Institute cadets, whose own building was being used as the capitol of the new state of West Virginia. Most of the original Odd Fellows Hall was destroyed by fire in 1950.

Back to the Basement Tapes series:
A little over a year ago I was in Calgary working on a film. The apartment I lived in for six months had a basement that was 'unfinished'...concrete walls, only industrial lights and no furniture...so it seemed like an ideal place for some image-play. The series of images that resulted I originally posted on Fotolog under the title of 'Basement Tapes'. For the first images I used myself in the image...a month later the totally captivating, mesmerizing Qua came to Calgary for a lovely visit and we did a series of images together in the basement....then some really weird shit started to happen. The candle holder on the table top is odd. I wonder if it was made from another piece of equipment. Otherwise, its screw press design doesn't have any purpose that I can imagine.

At my parents house i was given the task of sorting out all the odd socks at christmas time.. i dont think i actually found any pairs!

Two pairs of ostrich up dancing while one 'wall flower' has to sit out this number. They are the world's largest bird weighing up to 250 pounds. One egg is the size of 24 chicken eggs. Cheetah are the main predators of the adults , while eagles may attack the youngsters.

This is thought to be one of the most haunted places in the UK. Built in 1610 by Sir John Trevor, it's been considered haunted since even then – Sir John's gatekeeper commited suicide after seeing a ghost. There have been at least three other violent deaths, not counting those caused by the most infamous resident.
Before becoming Lord Chief Justice of England (1681-3), then Lord Chancellor (1683-88), then dying in the Tower of London, 'Hanging' Judge Jeffries lived here in the 17th Century. He held court in the dining room; those sentenced to hang were executed immediately in an adjoining room. Yes, in his own home.
There have been a disproportionate number of accidents on the nearby A541 dual carriageway (viewpoint of this photo), many of them caused by motorists swerving around ghostly figures.
Okay; I'm sceptical, too, but I visited in the 1980s, and certain rooms genuinely felt 'wrong'.
Quite apart from the paranormal aspect, the three-storey, Grade I Listed, Jacobean mansion is interesting in itself, with odd and unique features. The staircase is constructed of wood from a ship of the Spanish Armada, a sofa was a gift from Napoleon Bonaparte, and there are witch marks in the main fireplace, intended to ward-off evil.
Better On Black?
On our trip to the abandoned house this mattress was leaned up against the house and the tree had grown through and became one with the mattress.. Very odd!
Actually this shot is the other 1/2 of the tree I posted a day or two ago..

Made from red quilted fabric and vintage textile remnants including a bit of lace, a piece of linen, a small crochet button and a cutting of flowered fabric. Details stitched and "drawn" with needle, thread and machine.
I bought this bottle of Clariol Herbal Essences conditoner at Dollar Tree last month, and its an odd size conditioner bottle. Usually Herbal Essences are sold in much larger bottles. I needed conditoner so I bought it, and when I brought it home I looked on the back and saw that it was made in Canada. I guess in Canda conditioner comes in smaller bottles? The bottle is too small to be considred a regular bottle in the states, and too large to be considered a sample bottle in the states.

When I spotted this bird while kayaking in Morro Bay, my first thought was "that's an odd duck." I didn't know what kind of bird it was. So, I took a few shots of it and hoped that I could identify it later. I discovered that it's not a duck. It's a Pacific Brant, which is a goose.

An odd oil lamp I got from Goodwill. Made a wick for it out of some string. Has a tendency to puff periodically.
Clearly my camera skillz are not up to the task.
Saw this very odd mockingbird on top of a sign at the lake. It had no tail. Seems to be an adult, juveniles have a heavily spotted breast and a normal tail length. Fledglings have the spots and the gape which this lacks. Doesn't seem to be molting, all feathers look sleek. My guess is something called fright molt. Where a bird will escape a predator by abruptly molting their entire tail in order to get away. A survivor. Have seen it before in an adult female cardinal. The tail will grow back.
