This picture is #68 in my 3rd round of the 100 strangers project. Find out more about the project and see pictures taken by other photographers at the 100 Strangers Flickr Group page
So I found this blue wall that I wanted to use and stated that I wanted to find a stranger which blond hair and light coloured clothes to put in front of it. Peter decided to pop over the road and get us a couple of coffees and joked that I'd probably see my perfect stranger while he was gone.
No sooner had he disappeared inside when I saw her her walking slowly along with a gentleman who was talking on his phone. At this stage I was willing Peter to come out of the coffee shop with every ounce of my being and hoping for a miracle. Sure enough, they stopped right in front of me and stood there while he talked on the phone for a good couple of minutes. As Peter eventually came out of the shop loaded with warm drinks, he saw them, looked over at me and nodded like this had been his plan all along!
So here is Antonia who didn't seem at all freaked out when I told her I'd been eyeing her out for the last 5 minutes. She was out for the day with what turned out to be her husband. Luckily for me he doesn't like walking and chatting on the phone!
She was keen to keep her sunglasses on for the shot and while I did talk her into a couple of clicks without them, I really like the fashion like edge to this image so chose this to be my 68th shot in the project.
Thanks Antonia!

I've been preparing to shoot this series over the past few months, starting from December 2017.
It's all started with an idea of shooting models in a traditional Chinese dress. Subsequently, the idea was transformed into fashion photoshoot at the intersection of Asian and European cultures.
The most difficult was to find a designer for hairstyles. The search took me almost a month, but in the end I've finally found an amazing stylist.
She usually works for motion pictures company and responsible for actors hair styles and makeup. For our shooting, she was not only making a hairstyles of our two models but also did a geometry makeup for them.

A wonderful day when I shot so many pictures of my friends !
Strobist info :
One cross light on the right side, a GODOX QT600ii through an octabox 90 cm (1/2 Power) - One rim light on the left side, a little behind the model, a GODOX QT600ii in a strip box. All was triggered with a GODOX X1-T.
Post processing is minimalist here : no photoshop tweaks but a bigger black frame (because I did 396 pictures of many friends and I was tired and happy with this outcome also) - just VSCO filter with tweaks and that's it.

This shoot was booked way back in early to mid July. It's always fun to look at the calendar dates when it gets closer to see when upcoming shoots are just right around the corner. This was one of the shoots I've been looking forward to for a while.
This is the 3rd location that we went to today. The first one we got kicked out...probably 5 minutes after we got everything all set up. But, the cop was ncie so, can't complain.
Life On Hold is made up of an awesome group of musicians, more importantly, great people. I had an absolute blast hanging out with these guys (and girl) this past afternoon.
They're currently writing new music and recording in January. After the shoot, we grabbed some pizza and I got to hear one of their new songs...it's so sick. I dig it a lot.
These photos will be used to make their new myspace layout and other promotional needs. They're definitely worth a listen.

A good friend of mine called me up to do some new photos of his band. Of course I was totally stoked for it. We met up in New London and shot at the piers. It was an awesome location, sky was great, couldn't have asked for anything more.
Everyone in the band is hilarious. We had some funny times during the shoot. Real awesome guys to work with. They are in the process of recording so be sure to check out their music
