Hello amazing Flickr People !!

Today is a pink day at Color my World daily Group and nuts and bolts are the theme at Smile on Saturday.

I decided to go with the smallest nuts and bolds I could find in my house. People !! You have no idea how difficult those are to work with !! Just to put them one on top of another it took me 30 minutes and at least 1500 tries !!!! And then I sneezed and had to pick another tiny bolt since one was missing and was impossible to find on my floor (even with a magnifying glass !!). Yes, I have a tendency to exaggerate a little bit but still it was truly difficult working with those tiny nuts and bolds. I almost went nuts lol !!!!

They come from miniature finger skates my sons play with. We even have some very tiny tools to go with those. And since the skates are very small also you ride them with your fingers … Yes, men and their toys are truly fascinating lol

Happy 4th of July for my American friends !!! Enjoy your day !!

I will try to catch up as soon as possible with your comments and Photostreams but since I’m officially on vacation with my sons my activity on Flickr will be rather slow for the next few day. I apologize for that. Have a beautiful day my friends.

Thank you so much for all your lovely comments / favs/ general support / happy thoughts!! Stay safe and healthy!! And see you soon on Flickr!!

For Macro Mondays 'nuts' theme.

Non vedo, non sento non parlo

I could sit and watch squirrels for hours, all that scurrying around searching for and burying food. I also love it when they obligingly sit still long enough so I can get a shot!!

Thanks for viewing 😀

Thank you to everyone who pauses long enough to look at my photo. All comments and Faves are very much appreciated

This Red Squirrel didn't seem very happy when a Blue Jay swooped in and stuffed many peanuts into its "gular pouch". This sac opens underneath the bird’s tongue, reaches down into the throat and upper esophagus. It enables the Jay to stock up and cache nuts for a later day.

This squirrel wrestles this large walnut back to a quiet spot to feast on it.

Probably what the fish is thinking right now(but maybe with more colourful language)...

Nuts and bolts at your service....

A little figurine my son once created for Father's day, made of a bolt, a ring, some wing nuts and some normal nuts. I used it as a keychain until the thread broke.

For this photo, I had the figurine hanging on a fishing wire, which I cloned out in post. The background is one of my daughter's spray paint paintings.

Perfect for this week's theme Nuts & Bolts!
