It is already Friday !! And we are celebrating another blue day at Color my World daily. Today’s theme at the fabulous Looking close on Friday Group is nuts.

I truly have the impression somedays that I’m going nuts ! Since the whole working from home thing, my schedule is very hectic … and some weeks are very, very busy. But I’m still very grateful to have a job and being able to work.

So here we got, lets celebrate nuts on this amazing bleu day !

My dad always kept all of his spare nuts, bolts and screws left over from various projects. They came in handy now and then. I carried on the tradition when I got my own place. However, I never envisioned using some of the spares for photography! I had a box of these nuts that I haven’t used in years.

41 nuts make up this imperfect, nutty tetrahedron (3-sided pyramid).

Theme: Nuts

Size: Less than 3x3 inches

The subjects are dried Chestnuts use for cooking. I used a red plastic container cover to produce the red colour. I tied it over the table lamp which is positioned at 12 o'clock . There is another small LED torch positioned at 8 o'clock.

Hello my amazing Flickr friends !

Today is a red day at Color my World Daily and we celebrate nuts at Macro Monday.

And while I was searching for an idea for today’s picture I stubbled upon those 2 nuts kissing… The kiss was really very, very fast and I couldn’t believe my eyes: 2 nuts kissing, how that is possible ?

But the picture was already well tattooed in my mind so I had to recreate this whole scene… So here you go: two macadamia nuts kissing .

And now, I have to grab my coffee and join my video meeting… but I will be thinking about this crazy nuts kissing for sure !!
