Giving Nutcracker related gifts along with flowers is customary for any Nutcracker performance. I love the ones with the long furry chins the best.

They did have some very cool authentic cuckoo clocks but there were a bunch of people and i didn't want to take pictures of the clocks...
Today was Zoe's final dress rehearsal for "the Nutcracker" at Robert's Hall Auditorium at Rhode Island College. First time we got to see her on stage dancing - it was great! Can't wait for tomorrow!
Tomorrow is the show and hopefully the weather will not be TOO crazy (snow storm expected tonight).

Each year, the downtown Minneapolis Macy's (formerly Marshall Field's and Dayton's) has put on a tremendous Christmas display on the 8th floor. Every year is a different them. The 2007 theme was The Nutcracker. I suggest going early, and getting a gingerbread cookie upon exiting.

Our Evening out to see the Nutcraker on December 15, 2009 at the Sandler Center for the Performing Arts in Virginia Beach, Virginia.
