it´s early morning and I never had time to go to bed.

writing texts for my project and drinking coffee that my man brought for me around midnight.

FESTIVAL DI TORRECHIARA RENATA TEBALDI 2014 ENSEMBLE BERLIN - I SOLISTI DEI BERLINER PHILHARMONIKER Christoph Hartmann, oboe Sophie Dartigalongue, fagotto Anna Kirichenko, pianoforte

Because I'm not on Facebook, Jeff sent this screen capture.

Every day. Every class. Every member that gives feedback (even from just staying in class, or pushing their limits; some come up too - which is magical. Doesn't matter if that happens every class. It still means a lot), but even more awesome the community of fitness lovers we build - this. This is why I love teaching.

<3

Thank you to those who have allowed me to be a part of their fitness journey. It means as much to me as it seems to affect you. It inspires me to be better, give more of myself, to push ourselves to limitless possibilities.

Keep it real. Stay with the fight.

The Sewing Time Machine: A blouse named 'Secretary001'

The Sewing Time MachineWednesday, January 27, 2010A blouse named 'Secretary001'Here is my next project, or the inspiration for my next project. I'm no expert on the matter but this reminds me of a 40's pencil pushing office blouse, which is why I named it Secretary001.It looks to me like all the control has been shifted into side darts which were then gathered into the side seams. The sleeve looks like a very short kimono or dolman. Anyways, I got to work on the PatternMaster and this is my first muslin.

I'm not happy because I look like a bag lady!

So I learned that when zero waist darts are selected, the slack is not picked up anywhere else - not in the side seam and not in other darts. I'll have to manually shift all the control into the side dart. And that will be my second muslin....Posted by Marie-Anne at 6:28 PMLabels: blouse, fitting, PatternMaster Boutique0 comments:Post a CommentNewer Post Older Post HomeSubscribe to: Post Comments (Atom)PagesHomeAbout MeMarie-AnneWhen I'm not cleaning, cooking, or working, I'm going back in time....with my sewing machine!View my complete profileThis WeekChris' jacket is lined and it looks great. Using sticky notes to mast the wing. Even the blue tape pulls the paint off foam.

So many ideas flying around the group meeting we needed two note takers.

I found this note in the hallway last year - I still haven't figured out who is writing.

365/134 - 50mm class notes. A shirt we had ordered for my daughter came in the mail yesterday. As I was unwrapping it I thought the Anthropologie tape and tissue would be good to shoot with my 50mm lens for class. I LOVE the simple lettering on the tape, the lines of the folds in the tissue paper and the texture crinkles in the tissue paper. I focused on the letters on the tape. This might be a little too simple for me, but it was a good experiment.

Mermaid Musical Notes Earrings. These are the perfect accessory of all mermaids.

I was sitting on a bench in the Rabb Gallery, ready to take a shot in this direction, when this girl in a green sweater stepped into my frame -- and stayed there. Okay, I thought, I'll click the shutter and see what I get. Well, this is what I got.

ROUTE INFO

This short railway was a spur opened in 1982 to connect goods and coal trains from the former Midland 'Old Road' railway with the Coal and Iron Company at Poolsbrook. The connecting line diverged north of Staveley, travelling closely along the Chesterfield canal before passing through a cutting and also under the former GCR line, just north east of Staveley Central station. (now closed). The line diverged at Seymour Junction, Poolsbrook, feeding the Coal works, and the adjoining sidings as well as an industrial route through to Bolsover.

Trains decreased from the late 90s and by 2005 the double track line was becoming forgotten and overgrown, bushes starting to protrude between the rails.

The line was lifted during 2015, while the adjacent Staveley Canal Basin alongside was also closed temporarily and drained for major restructuring. At time of posting, the trackbed remains fully ballasted - similar to the former Midland Cudworth-Wath route - although it is much hoped that a Transpennine Trail extension might eventually be laid here to complement the refurbishment of the canal nearby.

Currency design f**king rocks. Here's a digital collection of old World currency that I have managed to collect over the years.

Simon Daymond’s former Todmorden Joint Omnibus Committee 9 NWW 89E, a Leyland Leopard L1 built 1967 with a Willowbrook B45F body stands in the Keighley & Worth Valley Railway’s Ingrow railway station yard. Sunday 30th August 1992

Note, NWW 89E was originally owned by Todmorden Corporation, being operated by the Todmorden Joint Omnibus Committee as number 9. The Todmorden Joint Omnibus Committee’s operations passed to the Calderdale Joint Omnibus Committee on 6th September 1971, NWW 89E being renumbered 325. The Calderdale Joint Omnibus Committee’s operations were transferred to the West Yorkshire Passenger Transport Executive on 1st April 1974 due to local government reorganisation, NWW 89E being renumbered 3325. It was withdrawn from service in 1984 and retained for preservation in the West Yorkshire Transport Museum. It was acquired for continued preservation by Simon Daymond in 1986

Text of note: Dear whomever left these in our blue recycling bin: The green trash can is almost never full, so please use it next time, instead of making me pull trash out of the recycling. Thanks! <3 Tracy

P.S. If you know whomever took our blue glass recycling tub, tell them we want it back.

RCA are very active around this part of Germany

There's also a $100 note which is green. Sadly I don't have any :(

I was playing "drop the dollar" with Pap-Pap at Christmas - he drops $2 bills, and if you catch it you get to keep it, and if you don't catch it then you go to the end of the line until you do. This time I caught something a little different. Notice anything odd compared to your usual dollar bills?

It's not a "Federal Reserve Note", it's a "US Note"!

My wife is back singing and dancing. Her first solo, tap shoes and costume. She had performances all week with Edmonton Musical Theater.
