Cat, The 13th Note, Glasgow
Cat came through and we went to the Note for dinner before gig. Sometimes I manage to stop myself from ordering spicy burger/spicy chips. We both had the soup and it was really good, then I had the curry, good, but Cat had the sweet and sour tofu and it was pretty spectacular, recommended

Overnight, someone placed this musical note (which I noticed as I processed the photo was in the shape of a lower-case B) in front of Creole Gallery, Robert Busby's home and gallery. By placed, I mean permanently affixed to a post which is anchored to the sidewalk. I wouldn't be surprised if there had been some city complicity in the memorial piece of artwork which a number of us suspect was created by a local artist/businessman who has had a hand in creating a couple of businesses in Old Town.
This is the way a "note" used to be sent. This is part of a collection of old correspondence, christmas cards, post cards and valentine cards that I've had for years.
It seems I am sooo behind that I lost track of the deadline dates! lol Well I can't post it to the challenge but I can share with my contacts! Maybe I should make a "note" of challange deadline dates!

The Hebrides by Felix Mendelssohn, my high school orchestra is playing and i love it. I play cello and really enjoy making my own music. So i thought I'd mix my two passions...music and photography
Always remember to be thankful. I was told a story today by one of my accounts at work. He owns rental units. He mentioned a lady had just vacated the one unit where a family lived in the one that was attatched to hers. The wife of that family was leaving her husband. There were children involved. Fact is, the youngest boy found the husband first. They came to pick up stuff and the boy came out to the kitchen and said, "Mom, Dads laying down in the bed room. He's wearing a mask". Actually the husband had removed his face with a shotgun. I do not know these people, but after hearing this today, I cannot get that little boy out of my mind. For those so inclined, Pray for the boy who lives in "ENOLA, Pa." that lost his Father in such a selfish manner. Pray for his family.
I smile here in this picture realizing that no matter how bad I think I may have it, My lord loves me and My journey here on Earth is not about me, yet it is about what I can be. I struggle with a lot of things. Things that seem insurmountable. Then out of no where I am reminded in one way or another that nothing is impossible.
Another note to self: Ephesians 5:20. Simple. So simple.

Laia Estruch’s practice hinges on the voice as a material reality—an expressive force and a medium that is expelled from the body.
Developed during the past year, when our very breaths have brought risk and we have often been unable to leave our neighbourhoods, "Ocells perduts" departs from her attempts to transform her voice towards a state of airborne mobility by approximating the songs and calls of migratory birds that nest in Barcelona—including the turtle dove, the cuckoo, and the scops owl.
Notes and noises fly out and around a huge net that is suspended high above—a stage for a series of live vocal rehearsals by the artist. A collage of pre-recorded vocalizations functions like a sonic lure, while a wind sock sculpture displays a form of performance score.
The idea for "Ocells perduts" was first sparked in early 2020 when Estruch happened upon a Catalan translation of "Stray Birds" (1916), Bengali writer Rabindranath Tagore’s collection of aphoristic poems, at a second-hand bookshop in Mexico City.
