Passing deep under Liverpool with a Wirral Line circular is Merseyrail three-car unit no. 508117, seen here approaching Moorfields station.
The train is the 1.56pm West Kirby - Liverpool - West Kirby (2W49) Saturdays-only service. Next stop is Lime Street, then Central and James Street before diving back under the River Mersey towards Birkenhead and The Wirral.
Sadly no stop at Penny Lane this time around 😂

So busy with the beautiful colours of Mother Earth and Father Sky, we almost forget that notes can be colourful as well.

I usually become a ghost to those who no longer deserve my time.
I've never seen a point in explaining my absence to someone who failed to appreciate my presence. You don't owe any explanations to those who hurt you.

I find it particularly interesting just how sensitive our cognition is to shapes. All we need do in this case is to see a silhouette, and we know it is a tree. More experience informs the brain this is also an Arbutus tree. I will not belabour the point regarding the psychology behind recognition, rather acknowledge its presence.
Next time you are out on some small adventure, or even a walk through a different place, take note of your amazing ability to recognize shapes for what they are. Perhaps it is a trek through a forest, or a place you have not previously visited. Try photographing shapes in favour of other elements like composition, color, and texture. It can be a fun photographic exercise.
