this is a note i found at work. left by my work partner who, God love him, can't spell worth a shit, and gets ahead of himself.
it cracked me up (especially the PS) - i'm not one to talk cause i can't spell worth a shit either, but this is funny. :)
i added the fish bone to block out his last name. just cause.
I got to church this morning, not scheduled to work like I usually am, and they needed a light person. So I started doing lights. Then my "boss" told me I should go up to the computer room and do the computer because the guy up there was doing it for the first time today. And there were some special/harder things to it, so I ran upstairs and took over the computer job and he moved to cameras.
During the sermon, the pastor was talking about how it can't all be mountaintops in our lives and one thing I never really thought about was that nothing grows at the top of moutains. That is true, it is fun and exhilirating for a short time, but then it is time to come down again.
Lately, I feel like I am in the valley alot though.
(Our Daily Challenge - NOTE)
(112 in 2012 - #47 - FIVE)
It's hard to believe how fast time flies and to realize that I've been volunteering with my dog Hope for 5 years now. She was only 2 years old when we started and I had no idea what I was doing. We have blossomed as a team and a couple of years ago, my other dog Nick started as a volunteer too. I can honestly say that I have gotten back way more than I've given and this "work" keeps me grounded even though we've lost many patients along the way. But, on the other hand, it makes me feel blessed for my family and friends and all the things I have in life. I hope that my dogs have touched the lives of just some of the people we've met along the way....
