Ok, so this has been on my "bucket list" since before I started my 365.
I've lived in the same town for my entire life, and ALWAYS liked these cool metal stairs on the side of a brick apartment building. I just haven't had the guts to step on them, they've either been blocked off, or folded up, and either one seemed like "OFF LIMITS" to me.
Well... today I built up the guts. They were blocked off by blocks, but we stepped over them a bit, and used the awesome stairs.
I figured, if someone doesn't want us on these, they'll say something, or stare at us strangely.
So I started shooting, and didn't think much about it, looking around (it's on the main street in town, a TON of traffick is going by, and I was checking for weird looks) but saw nothing out of the blue.
But two minutes into the shoot, TONS of sirens went off all around us, and were driving to us. :P
I had a half a moment's panick (I guess the little girl's fear instilled in me of these stairs and thinking of them as off limits) thinking that we were the cause of the sirens. LOL!!!
Thankfully, it was just the fire trucks and police cars going off in another direction, but it sure gave us a small fright. :P *laughs*
Anyway, that being said, I have now checked off another bucket list... uh, check? :P Not sure what to call it. ;)
:P Yes, it's well past midnight.
(Side note the reason she looks tired is because she had gotten up from a nap 13 minutes earlier) LOL!

Ok. Note: I didn't go in. But it just goes to show that even the most political things generate those who will try to make some cash off it.
An assortment including spring rolls, corn patties, wonton cream cheese, wonton with yellow curry steamed mashed potatoes, peas & corn (YUM!), and lotus root "fries." Served with sweet & sour sauce, sweet, chili sauce, and plum sauce.
Notes: Very good. I especially liked the wontons with the Indian inspired filling and the corn cakes.

I don't have a true macro. I actually tote around a point and shoot Sony Cybershot DSC-P51. But I can get some nice field of view type shots, I've discovered. It just takes a lot of work to hack it out.
Note Taking Tip: Review and clarify notes right after class. Organize your schedule so that you have some time right after each of your classes to review your notes. During this time, go through your notes and make sure you actually understand what you took down. #notes #notetaking

Part of my mom's birthday present: new license plates. (I know...aren't I such a caring son?) When I had them originally ordered, they kinda did it wrong. It took two trips to the SOS to get it right.
