The all-new Versa Note is offered in a range of well-equipped grade levels: S, S Plus and SV, along with top-of-the-line SL Packages. Each is equipped with an advanced 1.6-liter DOHC 4- cylinder engine with dual fuel injection and Twin CVTC (Continuously Variable Timing Control).

Here's some close-up detail of a fun part of the meeting notes from today.

Left this margarine tub outside in the lobby with a post-it note that reads, "There is NOTHING wrong with this!" Good to know.

My shooting notes from a hour session today including how I metered light, films, ideas on how to edit down the footage I was filming and WAV files I'd recorded. Without these notes I'd be lost in a mass of media very quickly.

Gutted as I had to leave before getting to shoot any film but I did get some interviews with Tilney1, some stills and about 20 mins video footage. Today we concentrated upon his fears RE his Benefits and his writing, how merely typing his work up triggers yet more Schizotypal and Obsessive behaviour, just reading the words back causes memory loops, everything's a battle for him yet he fights on.

I'll be back with him next week and we talk most every night on the telephone too.

I started with an Ehrman Tapestry design called "Notes" and began to tweak the tent stitches. Closeup pictures show fishes of french knots, stripes of knitting stitch and lots of smyrna cross stitches to give the piece texture. Great fringe from Suzi Hightower. Blood, sweat and needles provided by me.

We have Smoky full of them to sort and take to the German office in Lonsdale St...they had too many so took some to Kendall and the rest to Lifeline, after making a small selection for us. Graham not want any…

NOTES is a series I started in 1968. NOTE TO ERIK was the second one completed but the footage goes back to 1966. When I saw the footage I loved it, but didn't feel ready to deal with it. Seeing Sharon Moss again, who had moved to NYC from Storrs, CT inspired me to return to this footage to make a note to a mutual friend ERIK KIVIAT. It took about 2 years for me to feel I could respond to the generosity of her performance and the images I had gathered and shaped in my camera. Sharon Moss and her cats play and dance naked in the snow.

Setting foot in my office for the first time since mid-March. It's like a time capsule for an interrupted semester, down to the note I'd left on my door when I cancelled classes to fly (I thought) to visit my Mom at the start of Spring Break.

Quadralectic notes in Carlo Rovelli's book 'Helgoland. ROVELLI, Carlo (201). Helgoland. Het verhaal van de kwantumfysica, de ingrijpendste wetenschappelijke revolutie aller tijden. Prometheus, Amsterdam ISBN 978 90 446 4504 0

The deepening of knowledge into the mathematical world of matrix theory is beyond my comprehension. It might explain why my book 'De Vier Landen. Een topografie van het vierdelingsdenken' (in Dutch; Marten Kuilman, 1992/1997) proved to be a dead end (for me).

The first ninety pages (Chapter 4. De vierdeling en de quadralektiek) dealt with a straightforward treatment of the theory of a 'transversal ' (linear) four-fold/quadralectic shift. A 'longitudinal' (matrix) approach is introduced at p. 95.

This description is charming by its innocence (see the Wikipedia-stub in Eigenvalues below). The method of valuation in the subdivisions might, nevertheless, have some merit. If only for its originality. The 'Vier Landen (Four Countries) - Kekrop, Euhemeros, Steratotopion and Strobylos) and their 'topographies' are still near to my heart - but they did not lead to a further development of quadralectic thinking in general.

In hindsight (2021), there is a kind of similarity with Werner Heisenberg's trip to Helgoland. He also got lost in the idea that the matrix could offer a solution to a comprehension of the invisible. But the spectacular views of unknown territories did not fulfill their promise.

Signs to roads I will never able to travel:

Eigenvalues are often introduced in the context of linear algebra or matrix theory. Historically, however, they arose in the study of quadratic forms and differential equations.

In the 18th century, Leonhard Euler studied the rotational motion of a rigid body, and discovered the importance of the principal axes. Joseph-Louis Lagrange realized that the principal axes are the eigenvectors of the inertia matrix.

In the early 19th century, Augustin-Louis Cauchy saw how their work could be used to classify the quadric surfaces, and generalized it to arbitrary dimensions. Cauchy also coined the term racine caractéristique (characteristic root), for what is now called eigenvalue; his term survives in characteristic equation.

Later, Joseph Fourier used the work of Lagrange and Pierre-Simon Laplace to solve the heat equation by separation of variables in his famous 1822 book 'Théorie analytique de la chaleur'. Charles-François Sturm developed Fourier's ideas further, and brought them to the attention of Cauchy, who combined them with his own ideas and arrived at the fact that real symmetric matrices have real eigenvalues. This was extended by Charles Hermite in 1855 to what are now called Hermitian matrices.

Around the same time, Francesco Brioschi proved that the eigenvalues of orthogonal matrices lie on the unit circle, and Alfred Clebsch found the corresponding result for skew-symmetric matrices. Finally, Karl Weierstrass clarified an important aspect in the stability theory started by Laplace, by realizing that defective matrices can cause instability.

In the meantime, Joseph Liouville studied eigenvalue problems similar to those of Sturm; the discipline that grew out of their work is now called Sturm–Liouville theory. Schwarz studied the first eigenvalue of Laplace's equation on general domains towards the end of the 19th century, while Poincaré studied Poisson's equation a few years later.

At the start of the 20th century, David Hilbert studied the eigenvalues of integral operators by viewing the operators as infinite matrices. He was the first to use the German word eigen, which means "own", to denote eigenvalues and eigenvectors in 1904, though he may have been following a related usage by Hermann von Helmholtz. For some time, the standard term in English was "proper value", but the more distinctive term "eigenvalue" is the standard today.

The first numerical algorithm for computing eigenvalues and eigenvectors appeared in 1929, when Richard von Mises published the power method. One of the most popular methods today, the QR algorithm, was proposed independently by John G. F. Francis and Vera Kublanovskaya in 1961 (Wikipedia).
