Front cover of a 4-page asbestos catalog pamphlet by H.W. Johns (prior to "Johns-Manville"). Several asbestos products are listed inside the pages and is accompanied by a "handwritten" form-letter further discussing details about the asbestos products, "signed" by H.W. Johns (see additional Asbestorama post).
Of note, the pamphlet's back page indicates the asbestos manufacturing company was established in 1858, approx. 165 years ago.
Despite all the advanced software for information modeling and linear programming, sometimes one must break out a pen and paper and work through things by hand.

I got up early this morning, loaded my gear up and headed out to take some great shots of the sun coming up over the city. Got the shots and headed back home to do a bit of editing and see which ones I was going to use. Found a beauty and uploaded it with a couple of others. As I was doing that, my computer flickr'd (like that) and this note appeared in the photo's place. What am I to do? Please help me so that I can get my photos back!

Tip #32029: Practise writing notes before you go out on a field visit. That way you can look back at your notes 2 months later and not have to say, "WTF is that supposed to mean?!"

I photograph all car brands and please do bear in mind I am an enthusiastic amateur and NOT a professional photographer but I do have a fairly distinctive style and it has got better over the years.

Don Edwards Wildlife Refuge. Schneider Symmar-S 210mm. Arista Edu Ultra 100. Rodinal 1:50 stand for 7 minutes (I started with 20C but by the time I was done it was about 21-22C?). Vinegar bath, Ilford Rapid Fixer. Epson WF500 scanner. (Note to self: Try lesser development time to preserve highlights, esp. if temps are higher than 20C).
Scene's brightness range was about 8 stops. Placed the details on the right branch of the foreground tree in zone 4. the highlights were in zone 9, and the shadows were in zone 2.
Am trying out the Arista Edu Ultra 100 film and I have to say I am very pleased. I used it at ISO100, and haven't done any personal film speed tests yet. At the manufacturer's recommended speed It holds the brightness ranges well, seems to have very good tonality and transition in the gray areas.

The setup:
My Ryuk figure placed on a box in front of my monitor.
Monitor set to show an apple picture, with the brightness turned all the way down to accomodate the long exposure time.
Apple picture exposure set all the way down, again to help with the long exposure time.
Desk lamp placed on the floor, pointed up at the figure.
Room lights out.
Camera on tripod, 3.2 second exposure @ f/8, ISO 100.
