On Sunday this old boat was destroyed in a mindless act of vandalism on Dungeness beach.

This shot was taken last year and saly no one will now get to enjoy this boat any more.

EDIT - Thanks to info from Ziggy Stardust it looks like this particular wreck has survived however it doesn't make up for the loss of another.

Goooooooooooood Morning fellow Flickrites!

It's a lovely Flickr Friday morning here in Desert Hot Springs and we have none other than THEE Mr. Potato Head here in the studios with us today.

Mr. Potato Head, has becoming a big time movie star changed you at all?

Well Mike, thats a good questio ...

(Due to technical difficulties, we are unable to continue the interview with Mr. Potato Head. I may have planted him in the garden. In hindsight, I probably should of waited until AFTER the interview but, well ... I'm kind of impulsive)

Well, technically it's already here. This is an image from last year during my fall trip up to Ricketts Glen State Park. I made a rookie mistake in driving up there when there was not a cloud in the sky. But the color was absolutely gorgeous! This year I'm heading to upstate New York in a few weeks, which should hopefully coincide with the peak fall colors up there.

National Trust for Scotland maintain this cottage in Glencoe I believe. Wild weather once more, rain approaching and a hasty retreat back to the car!

Blue Springs Lutheran Church was established before 1811, with the first structure built of log. A second was constructed using brick prior to the Civil War. During the war, it was used as a hospital by General Ambrose Burnside (Union) following the battle of Blue Springs in 1863. The current frame building was built in 1893 by Rev. F.M. Harr.

The church is located at 920 Main St. in Mosheim, Tennessee. It was added to the National Register of Historic Places on November 13, 2017.

This old church is one of my favorites to photograph when I'm in the Greene County area. I used an HDR (High Dynamic Range) effect to draw out the detail.

While along the walk around World Showcase with a group of photogs for the WDW Photography meet, Jenea, Andreea, and I split off to shoot some in Japan. I have always loved this pavilion and it's tranquil feel. I wanted to capture some of the details that accomplished this feeling. Upon seeing these lanterns, I knew I could make some magic of my own with my wide angle. By this time the clouds had subsided and broken up to reveal that great Florida blue sky. I was pretty happy with the way that this one turned out. What do you all think? Enjoy!

I couldn't resist a golden hour shot back at Port Orleans French Quarter of the facade of the back of the lobby. I am a big fan of the architecture styles in this resort, and the lobby is no exception. And who could deny those great Florida palm trees to balance it all out. Boy, do I love that Sigma UWA lens. :) Enjoy!

Finally! UK Lockdown easing.

And what a joy it is to be back out in the beautiful English countryside.

Ok, I know this image is a little crazy but I was just having fun here, so forgive me for exiting the bounds of reality for a minute! This is something I took a couple of years back at Yellowstone, while on a trip with 2 of the coolest guys you could ever meet. We had a heck of a great time, and I took lots of photos on the trip. I just came across this the other day in my library, and thought I would give it the HDR Efex Pro treatment. I was sliding things here and there and just having a great time while in my own little world of software - hopefully you have experienced that joy yourself, firsthand. Anyways, I just thought it was a fun shot, nothing serious, just fun. Hope you get a laugh or something out of it! Thanks for looking!

One more left to post. Thanks for all of your great comments and visits! What I think is some what unique on this one is the LE effect on one side of the water and clarity on the other.
