ABOUT THIS IMAGE
"The Marriage of Ocean to Land"
The Ocean at each wave, eating away at the Rock, little by little. Each giving and taking in their own way.
Moonstone Beach, Cambria is a great place for shopping, gallery visits, exploration, walking, and for that matter any photography. Wide expanses of sandy beaches and rock outcroppings as well as many species of wildlife. Of course, never forget the restaurants. This day I had just finished a day sitting the Gallery at Marina Square. There was still a bit of light left, so I headed north where I could get some practice with ND Filters. I used several different 3,6 and 10 stop ND Filters experimenting for different effects. I hope you enjoy. Thank you for looking.
Location: The main church (katholikon) of the Skete of Saint Anna, Mount Athos (Agio Oros), Hellas.

This is an image of the mighty Clifton Supension Bridge which has been spanning the Avon Gorge in Bristol, UK since 1864.
I did think there would be a better sunrise than was presented with my hopes being raised when the sun slowly appeared behind me and parts of the sky were tinged with pink. Sadly this came to nothing.

ABOUT THIS IMAGE
"Shoreline"
Moonstone Beach area is a great place for exploration and for that matter any photography. Many species of wildlife, sand, sea and rocks. Of course, I love to experiment. That's what I did on this image. Using different ND Filters (ie 3, 6 and 10 stops) I found the one fitted for my taste and exposed away. From experience, wave watching, I knew each was different.

Der Silsersee – Lei da Segl auf Rätoromanisch – liegt im Engadin in den Gemeinden Sils und Bregaglia. Der Bündner Bergsee befindet sich auf einer Höhe von 1797 Metern über Meer. Der westlichste der drei Oberengadiner Seen wird vor allem vom Inn gespiesen, welcher am Ostende bei Sils auch wieder abfliesst. Der Silsersee ist etwa fünf Kilometer lang, maximal gut eineinhalb Kilometer breit und hat eine maximale Tiefe von über 70 Metern. Dadurch ist er der grösste See im ganzen Kanton Graubünden.
In Sils Maria ist ein bedeutender Teil von Nietzsches Werk entstanden: Das 2. und Entwürfe zum 3. Buch von „Also sprach Zarathustra“ im Sommer 1883, die Schrift „Jenseits von Gut und Böse“ (Aufzeichnungen dazu im Sommer 1885), die Konzeption wichtiger Vorreden zu früheren Schriften (Sommer 1886), die Streitschrift „Zur Genealogie der Moral“ (verfasst im Juli 1887), schliesslich die „Götzendämmerung“ und „Der Antichrist“ (beide im Sommer 1888).
