Old farm: no roof anymore.

This is a 5 shot pano of Grasmere Lake which is in the the beautiful Lake District area of the UK.

I was heading back from Derwentwater when I noticed how lovely the light looked on the hills so I quickly turned the car around and headed back to shoot.

Hopefully it has come out ok, but please feel free to let me know what you think, good or bad.

Thanks for looking!

I almost forgot that little walk in the wintertime, when I took some photos like the one above. So here it is, one more is in the pipeline.

I used that soft focus filter from Nik once again, here basically to smooth the background.

Closed for the season. HSS!

Olde Baseline Rd, Caledon Ontario

Ecton hill from Wetton hill, the Peak district, north Staffordshire, UK.

Another shot from my recent holiday to the Lake District. I know this is a regular composition of this beautiful location but had to have in my collection for the future for my pleasure.

Photographers do surprise me in how they operate when they shoot a location. When I was here another photographer turned up with his brand new tripod and also a very high spec Dslr came across the field and just set up his tripod and fired off a few shots packed up and then just walked away back across the field back to his car and drove off. I was here for nearly a hour on both visits taking in this stunning location and watching how the light and conditions change across this location and remember my first image Castlerigg Fells proves how conditions change in minutes and this photographer missed so much !!

Hope you like :)

A fiery sky over Weston-super-Mare's Grand Pier and sands.

Some excellent weather patterns blowing through the valley today which also means some much needed rain in this desolate desert.

As the clouds were rapidly changing and moving so was the sunlight. I was able to snap this quickie as the mountain top was sun kissed but just for a moment.

Best viewable experience on black so dim the lights and have peak (err, I mean) peek! lol
