One of my Contacts suggested that I took a panorama of the oak on the ramparts with it’s shadow, this one which captures both the shadow and the tree, unfortunately has a piece of the landscape missing, I include it for interest.
God I love my 10-20mm.
Am enjoying feeling stronger, fitter for having nature's playground at my fingertips. Running on the beach, swimming loads..it feels good.
Yet again felt like a plonker taking this. One chap was walking up the beach and just watching but then we had a very nice conversation about lenses as he'd just bought a D40 in December and wanted something other than the kit lens. Glad I could act like a demented kitty on catnip by exalting the delights I have with my Sigma.

... as Fall approaches, the light changes all of a sudden, the shadows lengthen and there's the hint of a chill in the air ... While I am one who will miss the heat and humidity of summer, I'm looking forward to the quality of light in the fall and winter
... been trying to embrace my mobile phone camera, and even remember that I have it with me. I think I might use it more and more

seen on a night time wander through my neighbourhood. Inside this Christmas freckled home were two couples playing cards at a table by the window, with the faint strains of jazz floating through the cold night time air, then a dog barked nearby. It was lovely.

Day One of the December Diary 2013 Project This years Theme... 'Mirror Image Montages'...
Hi guys!!! Well today is the 1st of December....
So that means day one of my December Diary...
I decided yesterday on the theme of 'Mirror Image Montages'... A topic that has fascinated and intrigued me for years!!! If you look closely you will see some subtle differences from one side to the other... there's one obvious one... the others are probably lost in the detail...
My shadow decided she would come out an join me again today too... We've both been in the 'dark' for far too long! %-)
It feels good to be back on Flickr and have something to get me taking photos again! I've not set up an official 'group' for the Diary this year... It all seemed a bit too hard... But you are more than welcome to accompany me on the journey... If the idea takes your fancy and inspiration too!!! %-)
