i haven't uploaded in a very long time. here's what i have to offer. a lot has happened since i last uploaded. the biggest change (photography related) is my new camera, a nikon d800. i hope to go out and take pictures more often during these last weeks of summer. i will try to for the most part keep it simple and just use natural lighting. i have been inspired with my *iphone-ography* to take pictures in moments or spaces that, in a sense, feel right.

`Would you tell me, please, which way I ought to go from here?'
`That depends a good deal on where you want to get to,' said the Cat.
`I don't much care where--' said Alice.
`Then it doesn't matter which way you go,' said the Cat.
`--so long as I get somewhere,' Alice added as an explanation.
`Oh, you're sure to do that,' said the Cat, `if you only walk long enough.'

Friday 13th July 2012
My Shadow and I have been spending quite a bit of time in the 'Shadows' just lately...
It's the middle of winter and it's been too murky and cold to come out and play....
The cold has been getting into my muscles and joints and causing a bit of havoc too...
So I've been laying low resting up and having to keep off the computer...
More excuses I know, for the fact that I've not been around to visit much lately...
Now I know why 'bears' hibernate in the Winter! %-)
Curl up somewhere warm for a couple of months and sleep it out!
Anyway... once in a while the Sun comes out to shine...
And my Shadow and I take advantage of it's warmth! %-)
Wishing you ALL a wonderful Black Friday
It's a day Craig and I always like to celebrate...
Our first date happened to be a movie on a Friday 13th...
So we're off to the Movies again tonight too!
Will tell you about that later...
Has anyone heard of the movie TED... HaHa!
Have a wonderful weekend everyone... promise to catch up soon!!! %-)

And as my eyes were fixed on my iPhone while taking his picture, I thought how nice it would be to be able to have coffee with such an interesting-looking man, and share some nice conversation in Spanish... I would ask him about Puerto Rico, a country I've never been in (maybe pretty soon!) but that has always interested me...
