Some rough early sketches on the left and the corresponding finished panels on the right. The sketches were done with a mechanical pencil and the final drawings were done on cartridge paper with a Copic Multiliner.

Trying Lynne Chapman's technique of three media, one colour each. Pitt Pen Big Bursh, Wine Copic Multiliner and ultramarine watercolour. Wish I had used the vermilion red Copic Multliner. From a photo, and using also the 'monster' technique.

This is my favorite lighthouse in Portugal. I visited it in 2011 and felt in love. Actually it is not in Aveiro, the exact location is Ílhavo and here we call it "Farol (lighthouse) da Barra". It's the biggest in Portugal and it's absolutely beautifull. I have a thing for lighthouses and thought this one would look good on a painting.
I've used St Cuthberts Mill, Bockingford watercolor paper, some WN Cotman and Van Gogh watercolors, copic ciao pens (mostly for shadows and the building, watercolor pencils (Caran d'Ache for the white shadows on the lighthouse, and a brown Faber-Castell for some details), also a Copic multiliner SP 0,03 for the black lines.
So... that said, I would really enjoy your oppinion! ;)

For this year's Christmas card I decided to do a zentangle design. Three kings is one of my favorite themes and they lent themselves well to ornate detail. This design was drawn on a piece of 8.5 x 11" Bristol in Copic multiliners then colored with watercolor pencil. The final card was 25% of the original size. December 2011

This is an original drawing of original characters that was inspired by 1800s fashion. I transferred my digital inking onto Copic marker pad paper, and used Copic multiliner inks, Copic markers, and Too Spica glitter markers. I hope you like it!

New kind of exercise for me: duotone drawing on medium-grey matte paper. Here, I used Copic Multiliner Cool Grey pens to fill the general shape and black ones to add darker accents. This paper, even being matte, was a kind of pressed to make its surface smoother, and it's not the best choice for this technique.

Created in June 2010, this zentangled ATC (artist trading card) used Copic multiliners on Gina K Pure Luxury cardstock. This view shows both the front and back of the card.
While drawing this, I was watching a show on undersea life, the origin of life on land (as believed by some). There are penguins, anemone, hanging pots of plants, etc. Enjoy!

"One well-known type of mandala is the mandala of the "Five Buddhas", archetypal Buddha forms embodying various aspects of enlightenment. Such Buddhas are depicted depending on the school of Buddhism, and even the specific purpose of the mandala." - Wiki
