I decided to take a swing at doing the 3rd day of the inktober prompt 'BAT' . so here is a Bat of the Masterson kind.
sakura micropigment 0.5, copic multiliner 0.3, windsor and newton brush pens on smooth side of corrugated board. This is from a photograph of the great actor GENE BARRY who starred in the western televison series BAT MASTERSON in the 1960s.
.03mm copic multiliner and zig caligraphy, 3.5 x 5.5 inch moleskine , This is on one of the clean fold out pages with no break in the center!

this drawing was done during a youtube livestream by artist Scott Maier. he did his completely in pencil, i did a light pencil outline during the livestream and then used the reference photo later to complete it with a copic .02 multiliner, and a micron . 03 inkliner.

I planted tons of bulb in my flowerbed. I drew a position plan so I know where should grow which flower. Hope, the flowers also know that.
I'm a bit impatient today... :(
This is the inked version of this sketch.
My multiliner pen was starting to run out of ink. Now I'm off to color this. ^__^;
I'll let you decide which is which. There is a shimmer to the petals.

Page 1 of Watercolour Moleskine 8, and it's over a hundred degrees in Davis. I sat by the Creek at lunchtime and drew a scene I draw every summer at about this time - the view (or former view) of Mrak Hall, now with King Hall's extension fully complete in front of it. Copic multiliner 0.1 and micron pigma 0.5 with watercolour. Listened to the new Art Brut album while sketching. Can't say I like it as much as previous albums.
I colored the little birdie using the colors from Kristina Werner's Color Inspiration #57... I also added some eyelashes for her using my Copic Multiliner.
I used alcohol inks for the background and stamped the Flourish Background cling stamp with VersaMark before the alcohol ink dries to get the resist result/look.

I was playing with my new Copic Multiliner pen and this doodle just sort of popped out. I love the flow of the ink from the tip of this pen. I feel like I'm the one in control and not the pen. Like I said this is just a doodle. I'm working on getting back to drawing something everyday. School's out and I'll be off for a few weeks in just 1 week!! Yeah!
