north beach, san francisco. started this at the place, just the outline, then it started to rain so i did the ink at home with a photo. Decided not to complete all of the details but leave it 75% done. I heard somewhere it's best to leave something at 75% because then it's not overdone; this could end up very overdone, and I quite like the blank areas.

I bought a little very cute USB external hard disk drive, 500GB. The stamp is from a letter which my boss received from Hong Kong. She knows that I love stamps, so she saves them for me.

Because of my persistent cold I couldn't run for two weeks. My first run after this time was really exhausting, although we didn't run very fast. Hope I will be completely restored very soon. ;-)

The Dancing House - is the nickname given to an office building in downtown Prague. It was designed by Czech architect Vlado Milunić in co-operation with Frank Gehry.
Not quite all the years work but over 400 sketches across 9 sketch books. Given the principles I work to it is not surprising that many sketches are... a bit rubbish. Some by good luck have a little merit which makes it all worthwhile.
Drawing for the majority of the year with a Staedtler pigment liner (0.05mm) then latterly with a COPIC Multiliner (0.01-0.05mm). Recently making more use of the Faber-Castell clutch pen which always travels in the paint box. The constants in the equation, as usual, are the Winsor & Newton A6 170gsm/80lb sketch books, the Winsor & Newton artist quality watercolours and the Koi water brush -the most compact available with a medium brush. I have only needed to refresh about half a dozen of the half pans and perhaps a similar number of pigment pens over the year. There are the sketch books of course but by far the greatest overhead as always is the cost of the Americanos!
It was hard selecting the one sketch from each book to display -maybe further pictures with alternative selections?
