Walking through the front door, you will first see the mudroom which is in the worst condition of any room in the house. How practical for at the end of a long day--come inside and wipe off your boots and wash yourself off! We noticed the big jugs of chemicals in here, and throughout the house and had to wonder if this place was a meth house at one time. Want to see this place on video? Click here:

This is the garage of the sixth and last place we visited on our abandonment tour of ND. I loved the multi-colored boards and all the things left behind! I think it was my favorite of all the places we saw. The house is easily restorable, and completely modern. It is located in very isolated prairie farmland, with many large outbuildings and a large trailer home as well as a beautiful shelter belt of mature trees. If I was a millionaire I would buy this place, fix it up and live there! The entire from property is wonderful, here is a video!

In August my aunt and uncle who live in North Dakota volunteered to take me abandonment exploring! My dad and my husband also came with. My uncle works for Fed Ex and also hunts and so he has seen alot of abandonment around ND. We had a blast! They took us to some really amazing abandoned places and we saw some beautiful parts of North Dakota.

Five SB-80s: one ceiling bounce CR, one wall/ceiling bounce CL, one bounced off wall in hallway on the left (too hot), one bounced low off wall opposite table in entryway, one bounced off wall in mudroom (around to the left behind the open door).
Client wanted to show that there was a mudroom, but I don't like how that doorway dominates the right side. And darn, I'd moved that ball of yarn for a previous shot then forgot to re-center it for this one. Oy.
Any and all feedback is much appreciated!
The kids went back to school today after days with the flu. I worry about them not eating enough while they are away at school. It's a common concern I have. Here, the outside door to the mudroom is still swung wide open.
