Here are the coat hooks in action. This project was fairly easy. It took most of a day. Only tools needed were a brad nailer, miter saw, cordless drill, caulking gun, and a paint brush.

This mudroom wall has two deep cabinets for full length hanging and a bench between with a beadboard back. The piece is stained American Cherry with some toned accents to draw out the grain. Limestone floor.

Go ahead and laugh, but I've spent the last few Tuesdays face down on the ground with my nose in who knows what! So today I'm staying off the ground.

Originally the kitchen, this room was decreased to make a hallway from the main room to the mudroom/backdoor.

someone asked me the size of the room. It's actually a really small square room that is the garage entrance to our home. I framed fabric in these vintage frames. Below are black/white photos of my daughters and painted old red rack white to match.

Here is the opposite wall in this small Minneapolis mudroom. We cut away the walls and capped them with quartersawn oak plates to create a sense of separation.

Here you can see how the slide is built. We housed it in such a way that it is completely hidden with the exception of the entrance and exit. The adjacent staircase allows the less adventurous to go the old fashioned way if they prefer.
