I never could get the color version of this one to have any real life. The light was just too bleh. So went B&W and moody, just for fun. Still not technically a good photo, but I ended up liking the feel of it. NS M30 at the north shore of Lake Pontchartrain in Slidell, LA. 29 May 2023.
Another image from my day treking through the Icelandic Highlands. It is hard to describe how awesome it was to experience this incredible environment, whose weather changes every 5 minutes.

The moments after a large storm passed over the Sierra Nevada Mountains near Mono Pass in the John Muir Wilderness. I decided to pack a telephoto lens for this backcountry trip and that lens made capturing this scene possible. I consider myself fortunate to have been in this spot and even more fortunate to have packed that long lenses!
The good weather forecast was a little out on this mornings visit - strong winds too !

Dusk approaching, the dark menacing clouds rolling in,the silhouetted hedgerows against the last of the light, present a dramatic sky.
Hocking Hills State Park.
My wife and I hiked to the end of Old Man's cave gorge with a changing overcast day.
This created a end of the day moody falls capture!
Very beautiful waterfalls everywhere! I will post more later.
Thanks everyone for your support!!
We hope you enjoy this moody view! :)
A moody shot of St Mary, risked getting soaked here as waves and swell were quite bad so had to time setting tripod up and keep watch at all times incase a rogue wave caught me, but I like the different angle and the flow of water
