estas casas típicas se insertaban en el vergel que era la Huerta de Murcia, escondidas entre los limoneros y naranjos con su suave olor a azahar.

The first snow this season (it disappeared a few days later, but it was fun while it lasted)!
This afternoon looked very promising for autumn color shooting with a almost clear sky. Got in the car and took off, though while almost at the destination, the clouds decided to take over. This was the last real good glimpse of sunlight of the day.
As the mist dispersed, it filled the sky with angels.../

The Alps surrounding the lake Vierwaldstättersee.
It is actually a lake with many names: Vierwaldstättersee is the German name - in Italian Lago dei Quattro Cantoni, in French Lac des Quatre-Cantons, in Romansh Lai dals Quatter Chantuns, and the official English name is Lake Lucerne. Lucerne (also known as Luzern) is situated by the lake, but still not a spot-on translation of any of the local names. But on the other hand, the Swiss names are not really spot on either since there are five (and not four) cantons bordering on the lake.

A dramatic sky and the golden gates to Kensington Palace, London.
Kensington Palace is one of the royal residences - originally built in 1605 by Sir George Coppin in what was then the village of Kensington (London has grown a lot since then). It was then in Jacobean style. It became a royal residence in 1689 when it was bought by William and Mary (as more healthy place to stay than Whitehall - William had asthma), and was remodelled by Sir Christopher Wren, who added to the place rather than replaced, to save money.
Today it is the official London residence for prince William and his family (they have a 20 room apartment there), but also that of prince Harry (who has one bedroom there) and a few others. The state rooms are open to the public.
