Whaletable is a square modular table with integrated seats for indoor and outdoor use. Besides 4 seating people, the table is accessible for 4 standing persons for example on a reception or party. The Whaletable can be assembled without extra tools, and the tabletop is in it's whole stackable. The table consists of 8 components: 4 self-supporting table modules and 4 legs, which are easy to handle by the light construction of the rotation moulded piece with steel frame (prototype is made of polyester). One can place 1 module in a corner, 2 modules against a wall, or 3 modules around a corner. The modularity of the table makes it adaptable to every public place, such as fast food restaurants, writing tables in post offices, reception tables, picnic tables in parks, on festivals, etc.

This product is pretty cool. One guy set up this home's foundation in a couple days using this modular expanded polystyrene formwork. The consolation to using non-biodegradable polystyrene as a formwork is that you leave the blocks in place, substantially increasing the R-value of the foundation. Not losing heat to the ground represents a huge energy savings in the northern climates.
Polar Pen (Kickstarter Edition) - Pen and Stylus made out of Magnets
Was able to help fund the 2nd batch of Andrew Gardner's cool modular magnet pen design and it finally arrived (one gold, one silver, and some construction balls). Mixed the colors and they look great. Magnetic strength is pretty strong.
Deconstruction/construction is a breeze (videos on their website). Each segment can be used in conjunction with the metal balls to also make shapes. The pen shaft can also be used for fun repulsion effects. Segments can be used to form a compass for drawing circles. More info here:
