Here's a recent store project by Diane Gauthier, one of our Neighborhood teachers. Using three colors of Berrocco Comfort, this is an easy-care, affordable project which lets you experiment with modular knitting.
Modular origami designed and folded by me from 8 squares of paper with no cuts or glue. This is the second time I've folded it, this time to take photos for diagramming.

Not an ornament, just a pretty little cube I made while watching tv. Since I had the camera out anyway, I figured I'd plop it on a branch and take a shot.
24 ~3" square sheets of the same washi chiyogami I used on the little purple sonobe.

A US-based company named Wikispeed has adopted the same approach with the design of the SGT01, a car designed as a modular platform which will empower suppliers to innovate freely. Each part of the car is a component that fits into a standard interface. For example, when the engine wears out, it can be removed and replaced in one piece, like a tire. Although they are still seeking funding to go into full production, they have designed a 4-seater commuter car that gets up to 114 miles per gallon and can sell for $20,000 using this approach. Although it's not in production yet, you can still order one today on the internet.
This is a set of promotional cards detailing presets for four of the Moog Moogerfooger analog effects pedals. Featured are the Low Pass Filter, Ring Modulator, 12 Stage Phaser and the MuRF. I got this off eBay and wanted to scan them for others to enjoy.
Polar Pen (Kickstarter Edition) - Pen and Stylus made out of Magnets
Was able to help fund the 2nd batch of Andrew Gardner's cool modular magnet pen design and it finally arrived (one gold, one silver, and some construction balls). Mixed the colors and they look great. Magnetic strength is pretty strong.
Deconstruction/construction is a breeze (videos on their website). Each segment can be used in conjunction with the metal balls to also make shapes. The pen shaft can also be used for fun repulsion effects. Segments can be used to form a compass for drawing circles. More info here:
