that nastily break of these porous plastic discs with the joints, I have repaired by this rebuilding.
I didn't like the gaping, flutter sleeves for this blouse (especially after I butchered them), so I just made this up. I think the facing tucks lend nicely to the casual tailoring of the whole thing, and it felt terrific to fly by the seat of my pants as regards Bettes, my sewing machine.
It's been a fun few months but I figure it's time to mess up....er... modify the engine. First order of things is to lose that silly resonator and take off the cover. Covers hide the interesting stuff and do a great job of holdin' the engine heat on the wires and hoses, where it does the most good!

I mounted lock nuts and did some fine adjustments, then test mounted them once more on the bike som see that everything was allriight, then I undid one nut at a time and applied thread glue and then tightened them back again. That's that!
Modifications to 37674 are now complete and the next stage is applying the livery. Here (and in the next two photos) is a brief summary of the changes made.
1. Lower edge of roof panel removed and replaced with thinner plastic strip.
2. Gutter above cantrail grilles moved upwards.
3. Modifications to gutters above cab doors.
4. Nose grilles changed as per prototype using Proto Neo etched brass overlays. Beading around all four nose side grilles changed to match prototype.
5. Lower cab step drilled through to make it deeper and width narrowed.
6. Fire break glass boxes drilled through.
7. Spurious cut away filled.
8. New cut away added.

Modification to make adjustment of points simpler.
Cassette points are not set by gap, but by dwell angle. On early versions of the SEV Marchal distributor, adjustment was by removal of cap (and sometimes body, given its location) and to turn the thumbscrew a by clicks in either direction depending on dwell angle required. Later versions had a hole in the body in which a 3mm allen key was inserted making cap removal unnecessary.

The GS is gradually being prepared for stage 3 of our gentle bimble round the World. The Metal Mule Panniers that previously graced the TT600RE have been transferred to the GS after the Chavs of Reading nicked the TT.
It may not look like much just yet, but I'm taking this crazy medical device called an autobox and turning it into a steampunk landing pod for my "Mars:1905" photo book. I'll post photos of my progress and would love any advice people have to offer!
The photo is of the Extra Fiber Omega-3 Power Pretzels before going into the oven.
The following describes what modifications we made to the original soft pretzel recipe, and the purpose of each. It suggests populations of individuals who may benefit from the added ingredients. It also describes the funtion of each new ingredient.
The specific population is anyone who wants to increase his or her fiber, protein and omega-3 intakes. Bread flour was used in place of AP flour because the former is higher in protein. The higher protein content could make the pretzels an attractive snack for athletes. Some wheat flour was also substituted because of its higher fiber content. In addition, a small amount of wheat bran was added because it is an excellent source of fiber. Persons who are irregular can benefit from the increased fiber, as can those who suffer from any number of common bowl disorders.
Flax seeds are added because they are high in Omega-3 fatty acids. Those following heart-healthy diets will appreciate this ingredient. A diet rich in Omega-3 can reduce the risk of cardiovascular disease by increasing high density lipoproteins (HDL) and decreasing very low density lipoproteins (VLDL). Omega-3 can also be beneficial to brain health by alleviating depression. Adults and seniors who may not always eat a balanced diet will benefit from the extra protein as well as the additional Omega-3.
Wheat flour will increase the fiber and protein content. It will tend to give the pretzel dough a firmer, heavier texture. Fiber will also be increased by the addition of the wheat bran. Only two tablespoons will be used to prevent the baked pretzel from becoming a hard mass. The flax seeds will add Omega-3 fatty acids. With a bit of luck they may also provide some moisture and help to soften the higher fiber ingredients. On the other hand, if the flax only contributes fiber to the final product, it could be too much overall bulk.

This is a photograph from the 4th and final round of the 2015 Mullingar Road League which was held in Belvedere House and Gardens, Mullingar, Co. Westmeath, Ireland on Wednesday 27th May 2015 at 20:00. The weather was perfect for running and racing again and gave bright sunshine with some breeze. The weather conditions were favourable for runners this evening. As this was the final night of a very successful league there were many category prizes up for grabs with runners having to ensure they ran their races to gain the required finish times for the overall calculations. There was a great atmosphere at the finish as spectators cheered on the runners. This year's 5KM is ran on a modified route based on the route from the last couple of years. The final 1KM is within the Belvedere Gardens bringing runners down to the lakeside for a second time and finishing along the aptly named Stream Of Life. The route modification means that the race offers a slightly faster route than the hill finish of previous years. In the prize giving and awards in Belvedere House Cafe there were refreshments served for runners and this brought the curtain down on the Road League for 2015.
The race is promoted by Mullingar Harriers for the Pat Finnerty Memorial Cup. Competitors need to run 3 races out of the 4 races in May (any order) to be considered in the overall placing in categories at the conclusion of the league. Runners can also choose to just run one race without being considered for the overall league placings. Over 330 people took part in tonight's event bring the total from the four nights to so far to well over 1,400 runners. As with all of the previous weeks the new finish area provided a nice space for runners to stay around and chat in the evening sunshine. The Mullingar Road League 2015 is now over but has continued successfully and looks to add to the success in the history of this great series. Despite the bright evenings the photographic conditions in Belevedere are difficult so this photograph is part of a smaller than usual photograph set as there were many blurred photographs this evening.
The "Road League" is something of a misnomer but is an indication of the League's origins on the roads around Ladestown Mullingar prior to it's move into Belvedere in 2008. The Road League is the envy of many other races in the country as the Belvedere locations offers a completely traffic free 5KM route.

I ran in the race - but my photograph doesn't appear here in your Flickr set! What gives?
As mentioned above we take these photographs as a hobby and as a voluntary contribution to the running community in Ireland. Very often we have actually ran in the same race and then switched to photographer mode after we finished the race. Consequently, we feel that we have no obligations to capture a photograph of every participant in the race. However, we do try our very best to capture as many participants as possible. But this is sometimes not possible for a variety of reasons:
►You were hidden behind another participant as you passed our camera
►Weather or lighting conditions meant that we had some photographs with blurry content which we did not upload to our Flickr set
►There were too many people - some races attract thousands of participants and as amateur photographs we cannot hope to capture photographs of everyone
►We simply missed you - sorry about that - we did our best!
You can email us petermooney78 AT gmail DOT com to enquire if we have a photograph of you which didn't make the final Flickr selection for the race. But we cannot promise that there will be photograph there. As alternatives we advise you to contact the race organisers to enquire if there were (1) other photographs taking photographs at the race event or if (2) there were professional commercial sports photographers taking photographs which might have some photographs of you available for purchase. "The Church of Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois is a Roman Catholic church in the First Arrondissement of Paris, situated at 2 Place du Louvre, directly across from the Louvre Palace. It was named for Germanus of Auxerre, the Bishop of Auxerre (378–448), who became a papal envoy and met Saint Genevieve, the patron saint of Paris, on his journeys. Genevieve is reputed to have converted queen Clotilde and her husband, French king Clovis I to Christianity at the tomb of Saint Germain in Auxerre.
The current church was built in the 13th century, with major modifications in the 15th and 16th centuries. From 1608 until 1806, it was the parish church for inhabitants of the palace, and many notable artists and architects who worked on the palace have their tombs in the church. Since the 2019 fire which badly damaged Notre Dame de Paris Cathedral, the cathedral's regular services have been held at Saint-Germain-l'Auxerrois.
The 1st arrondissement of Paris (Ier arrondissement) is one of the 20 arrondissements of the capital city of France. In spoken French, this arrondissement is colloquially referred to as le premier (the first). It is governed locally together with the 2nd, 3rd and 4th arrondissement, with which it forms the 1st sector of Paris (Paris-Centre).
Also known as Louvre, the arrondissement is situated principally on the right bank of the River Seine. It also includes the west end of the Île de la Cité. The football club Paris Saint-Germain and the rugby union club Stade Français are based in Paris. Summer 2019 I did a solo cycling tour across Europe through 12 countries over the course of 3 months. I began my adventure in Edinburgh, Scotland and finished in Florence, Italy cycling 8,816 km. During my trip I took 47,000 photos.
