After modifying his face for seven long years, 26-year-old Russian Jenya Bolotov has finally fulfilled his life’s ambition of becoming a human platypus. Based loosely on the "Very Biased Skirt", built on an old slip with yards and yards of vintage and destash lot lace from Etsy, my stash and a friend's well-timed grab. A camera phone snap of the neckline is here.

Good guesstimation placed some more ruffley rows at the hip(ish) area, to create a fuller silhouette. The owner of the dress is considering a sash to add more shape and general foofing. I am all for it. I'll hopefully get outfit-styled shots eventually, but it's way too frigging cold for a slip dress right now.

Complete. The narrow OD of the B&M wire was beefed up with layers and layers of shrink tubing in an effort for the wire to be snug in the hole that passes through the fender and to avoid water from coming into the light body. I would have drilled a smaller hole if I had originally planned to pass only a single conductor cable through.

My Snow White tattoo that was done today in honor of my uncle, who lost his battle with Non-Hodgkin’s Lymphoma nearly two years ago. The art for Snow White was originally sketched out by my uncle, which is why I chose it.

The tattoo was done by Jim Galloway at Atomic Tattoos in Brandon, FL.

I was looking for my cardboard cover to convert the lightsphere to a darksphere, couldn't find it anywhere. Saw this standard reflector lying around and tried it on the lightsphere. It fits perfectly! It gave me the snooted effect i was looking for. I might use it more often in the future :)

My first modification to the central area of the UCS Falcon which originally contains a beige turret control seat and nothing else. I attached a more "realistic" seat connected on the other side of the bulkhead from the blaster turret (like it is in universe). I then added some computer lights and mechanics around the pilot inside the ship. By moving the seat to the new location you can now see the operator perfectly through the viewing window. Just behind this area I also installed the top section of a make-shift power core; which provides power to the rest of the ship; including the hyperdrive. As I get more hoses and cables and other fun power conduit type stuff I hope to add them running from the power core to other parts of the ship, disappearing behind panels. I'm also hoping to get a small LED light in the middle of the power core so it can glow blue. If anyone has any other ideas, please let me know.
