Years ago I found this 1954 US water can next to the garbage bins from the house where I live. Of course I saved it! Now it does a great job in giving me exact dimensions for the 7th scale version I ´ll make for the Jeep. Only the opening has to be modified for it to resemble a gas jerry can. On the Jeep you can see a urethane block in the rough shape to get an idea how to make the brass version.

Lighting Info: Nikon SB-800 through gridded softbox above and in front of the model. SB-600 through snoot and fired from behind and left of the model to highlight. Flash triggered with SB-900 on camera via Nikon CLS Wireless
Taken with pre-poduction model firmware 0.0 in RAW and converted to DNG and then edited in LR5 with emphasis on detail, so low noise reduction.

Lighting - Charcoal grey background. Gridded Beauty Dish powered by Profoto Pro-7a as the main light . Square softbox front and low as fill. 2 medium size strip softboxes behind that were adding rimlight (powered by Profoto compacts). Another profoto compact with a gridded zoom reflector aimed at the background. Strobes triggered with PocketWizards.
