The elegance of a ballerina remains intact. And playing with light and shadow ensures that the texture of the clothing is emphasized in a beautiful way.
This photo shows that sometimes looking back at the photos you've taken, you sometimes see gems that you haven't seen before.
I feel like I'm in a rut. It's come to this - a model craft at one of the local parks. Kinda cool, actually - every time I go to this particular park seems like, the local model boat "club" is meeting. They've really got some detailed big models cruising around. If I had asked, I'm sure I could have gotten a ton of info on this model. The Wood Ducks were not too far away, by the way - from last week.
Check it "large". Give it a couple of clicks. It's very detailed, pretty fun.

Strijp-S in Eindhoven is a well-known location for many photographers. It is a location that offers many opportunities to take a good photo of someone.
Not only the outdoor locations are very interesting. Strijp-S also has many beautiful atmospheric indoor locations. I take into account that I am present as a customer/visitor, I always order some food or drink and always ask permission to take pictures inside.

En el 118 de Champs-Elysées, en una superficie de 500 m², Mercedes Benz expone la esencia de la marca.
En este espacio cálido y moderno se puede descubrir los modelos más exclusivos de la marca. Cada año recibe más de dos millones de visitantes: amantes de la marca, entusiastas de la innovación, la competencia y los entusiastas de coches clásicos... o los cuatro a la vez!
En 1883 Karl Benz fundó la empresa Benz & Co. en Mannheim, Alemania. En 1886 se introdujo el primer automóvil del mundo, el famoso triciclo Benz.
En 1890, Gottlieb Daimler en Cannstatt crea la Daimler-Motoren-Gesellschaft. Inventores del motor moderno y el automóvil a finales del siglo XIX, Gottlieb Daimler y Karl Benz establecieron por separado dos hitos en la industria automotriz.
La marca le debe su popular nombre a una niña de once años. La pequeña realmente no se llamaba Mercedes, ya que su verdadero nombre era Adrienne Manuela Ramona Jellinek pero en su casa todos la llamaban cariñosamente Mercedes y con los años acabó incorporándoselo como primer nombre, aunque en la partida de nacimiento no constaba como tal.
Su padre era Emil Jellinek (1853-1918), importante hombre de negocios y cónsul diplomático, que sentía una verdadera devoción por su hija y las carreras automovilísticas, que comenzaban a ponerse de moda en los últimos años del siglo XIX.
De hecho, el señor Jellinek había participado en alguna competición conduciendo un bólido de la época y bajo el pseudónimo de Monsieur Mercédès. Era tal su pasión por los coches que en 1900 encargó a la empresa DMG (Daimler Motoren Gesellschaft) que le fabricasen una flota de 36 coches, con una sola condición: los coches deberían llamarse Daimler-Mercedes.
Los automóviles fabricados fueron un éxito absoluto, lo que llevó a Daimler y Jellinek a firmar un acuerdo de colaboración para la fabricación de nuevos autos y la incorporación de Emil en el consejo de administración de la empresa.
Curiosamente, en 1903 Emil añadió el nombre familiar, con el que llamaban a su hija y a los automóviles, al suyo propio y pasó a llamarse Emil Jellinek-Mercedes. A raíz de esto solía bromear en infinidad de ocasiones recordando que era la primera vez en la historia que un padre adoptaba el nombre de su hija.
Se podría decir que el señor Jellinek sentía una auténtica obsesión por ese nombre ya que a un gran número de inmuebles de su propiedad los bautizó con él (Villa Mercedes I y II, Chalet Jellinek-Mercedes…).
Con los años el nombre Mercedes fue tomando cada vez más fuerza dentro de la empresa automovilística y cuando en 1926 (Emil Jellinek ya había fallecido ocho años atrás) se firmó un acuerdo entre Daimler y la empresa Benz (otro de los grandes fabricantes de coches de la época que había sido fundada por Karl Friedrich Benz), la empresa resultante tomó el nombre de Daimler-Benz, quedando el de Mercedes-Benz como ‘marca comercial’, tal y como la conocemos actualmente.
