UPDATE: Missing king cobra found!
The missing cobra was caught just over 1,500 feet from where it had escaped. Our law enforcement officers secured it in a steel cage and large venomous transport box in order to return it to the permitted owner. The current cage was inspected and meets the requirements. We continue to review the incident.

9/4/15 Morning Update
The king cobra has not been captured. Experienced snake handlers returned to the property this morning to continue the search and deploy several box traps that contain food the cobra likes. Our investigators will assist with the search and deployment of the box traps as the investigation continues.

3:00 pm 9/3/15
Currently 10 people are searching the property where the king cobra went missing. All civilians and FWC staff on-site on the 10-acre property are experienced snake handlers. Four of our officers are on the perimeter prepared to respond to any sightings in the neighborhood. One of our biologists is on the way to assess a capture plan. In addition, officers are patrolling a nearby elementary school.

All hands are on deck as we continue to search this morning for an escaped king cobra in the Orlando area. The snake, approximately 8 feet long, was reported missing yesterday by its permitted owner. Report any cobra sightings to our Wildlife Alert Hotline at 888-404-FWCC (888-404-3922).

My dear cat Musti is still missing. It's five weeks now, so I've given up hope he will return. He was always with me in the garden for the last sixteen years. Not knowing where he is and what happened is very frustrating. I made this photo only one day before he was missing.
just skyped my daughter who's away on the other side of the country at university. One of her friends here at home committed suicide last month and she's feeling a bit fragile.

I didn't even realize that he was missing some until I got it on the computer.
I do miss her a great deal. We always went to Kyoto or some other places together, never missing nice coffee and yummy things, having a lot of chat and laughter, walking a lot, taking a lot of pictures.

After I woke up from a long and needed sleep, I woke up this morning proud of myself that I had managed to protect my mommies prized ferrero rocher collection from harm.
But oh shock, what did I find when I went to check the tressure chamber?
One of the golden orbs had vanished!
After making sure my Uncle wasn’t responsible, by checking if he had some chocolate smeared around his snout, I kept investigating.
It didn’t take me long to find the culprit. Little Pip was happily snoring next to the window, the evidence in form of a golden wrapper still on his nose.
I didn’t have the heart to turn him in and I thought maybe my mommie wouldn’t miss this one, to make sure that the treasure still looked symmetrical (since they are lined up in pairs) I decided to eat another one... only to protect Pip of course ;-)

Hangs out between Broadway and 12th Avenue late at night. Last seen on May 20th at the corner of 10th and Glen crushing Purrsie's throat and shaking in jaws to break cat's neck. Was heading back to den with cat but never returned.
Not innoculated. Infested with heartworm. Much needed to kill many more cats before dispersal season.
With opening doors and windows that rolls up and down, complete with a very very detailed interior, this model is the best fire truck model I've ever seen. Code 3 at its finest.. The compartments can open too!!!! And the hoses feel like real hoses, all textured!!! Only thing missing are the light up LED's... But with all the features this model already has, it doesn't matter to me if there's no light up LED's..

More Detail Than Ever Before
We've replicated this labor of love in 1/32 scale with our latest addition to the Diamond Plate Series. As you can see from the photos, we've put our heart and soul into this fine piece as well.
Just like the actual apparatus, this replica pays tribute to the heroism of American firefighters. The beautifully recreated mural on the side of the truck, with the words "Never Forget" inscribed on it, speaks of our deep respect to all fallen firefighters.
Four opening cab doors reveal a highly detailed interior. Inside each of the opening compartments are the actual tools and equipment meticulously replicated. Squad 61 features realistic LED lights, real lenses, windows that roll up and down, a detailed bumper, and hoses that feel just like the real thing.
With over 520 individual parts (the most we have ever used in any model to-date) for incredible detail, we hope to have captured the spirit of the actual apparatus."
Some things seem to be missing. Not sure if they were just out of service being restored? Or maybe Pea Ridge is short a few tubes?

It's been six months since we lost our yellow lab Tiffany. She brought so much joy into our lives. Tiffany is sorely missed by all who knew her.

Incidentally, this is actually a sculpture in Kennebunkport, Maine, USA. The hat, shoes and book are made of bronze and are very firmly attached to the rocks.
