Ever wonder what chocolate cupcakes look like if you forget the baking soda and baking powder? I now know the answer is hockey pucks! Out of curiosity I tasted one, and they taste just like the cakes I used to make when I was a 5 years old playing kitchen. I don't know how my mom always managed to take a bite and pretend they were delicious!
I wanted to do a girlie cake, but must admit that all Monique really is interested in is Dora, so this was a compromise :)
Unfortunately Monique raided the fridge before I got a picture taken, so there are pieces mysteriously missing here and there :p

A friend of mine's cousin has been missing since last Tuesday. It is most out of character for her to go missing, no history of depression etc. She was last seen on Sir John Rogerson Quay being picked up by a dark coloured car, which Gardai believe may have been a Mercedes Taxi. Spread the word, it might help jog someone's memory.
This sign was still by the path leading down to Trypitos Arch in the summer of 2012 but was gone by 2013, perhaps blown away by the tornado in the spring of that year. According to Ian Bleasdale it read "In the old days a staircase of about 100 steps was leading to the sea down below and all the houses nearby used to collect water needed for the house from a sterna at the bottom of the steps. The opposite side of the hill was planted with vines and it was a meeting point for neighbours. To-day, it is one of the typical Mediterranean coastal viewpoints over the Ionian Sea attracting only visitors.

One day after masks were put on the Lions outside the Art Institute in Chicago, they were stolen and are missing in this shot. Later that night, they would be found by police and returned.
