There is nothing to see but there use to be another home on the other side fo that fence.

A buddy of mine saw my new-car pictures and asked me to shoot some of his new car. (Like we didn’t see that coming.) He’s an early riser like me so he showed up early enough for the good part of sunrise. He didn’t realize how I like to work a subject but after about 20 times of turning various lights on and off he was getting a clue. I don’t know if he was bored or feeling guilty but he was trying to get me to quit, right when the light got great. “Look, you’re missing your sunrise.” I assured him I was not.

"Missing you"

My World Vision:

Del amor por la mañana...

Un amor bonito y discreto, un amor verdadero.

Un amor en Malasaña.

One of the park rangers was searching the lake for a missing gentleman. He asked what I was taking the pictures for, and I said he was the most beautiful thing I'd seen all day. I got a smile out of it.

Its been a year and half since i went solo to Gilgit-Baltistan. Missing those huge rocky mountains, the harsh noise of water stream flowing downwards crushing rocks, cloudy weather giving impact of an old horror hollywood movies and the roadside hotel where i had tea.

You always make memories when you travel, it could be related to either anything physical or the aura of the place. The memories i brought back from Gilgit-Balsitan was the silence of those huge valleys, the sign of no human but nature all around and the fact of an existing power who is running all this.

This picture was taken while i was back to the Gilgit town from Phander Valley, It went dark while I was on my way back and i can't explain the shine of moonlight on these mighty mountains, the romance of the ...

The D200, D300/S, D700 Nikons, and the Fuji S5 have their serial numbers on the bottom of the camera. However, this camera is missing the sticker with the serial number.

If you're going to use full stops to indicate abbreviation you should be consistent. The apostrophe is unecessary and, to add insult to injury, it's not even a proper one.

Brisbane was over 30 today and there isn't anything much more mundane than an electric fan. This one is 'On'', as you can see by the buttons. The blades are literally "missing in action."

The final project for our Photographing People class was to duplicate a self portrait of a photographer in the 50's. His portrait of the fingers was taken with a 4X5 view camera so I guess it wasn't truely a self portrait since someone else actually tripped the shutter. Hardest things-1) figuring out how to do it (thanks to my honey for the idea) and 2) actually shooting it myself.

missing the forest dreadfully

Looking at the south side of the National Cathedral.

This is my Digo. He passed away about a week ago. He had cancer last year and since his surgery both his hind legs got worse. 2 weeks prior, he lost the will to even move. We made a heartbreaking decision.

We miss him, badly.

The only thing missing? Birds. It could have used some birds.

Suffolk Road, Sheffield, late Saturday afternoon. An old car pulls up, and two men emerge into the drizzle. It has been raining all day, and the buses that swish past, round the ring road, past the cathederal and Bramall Lane, are full and steamed up. After a quick recce, the car pulls away and holes up in a multi-storey nearby. Minutes later the men are back, undercover and faceless, and seconds later disappear into the building. No one sees. No one cares.

Inside is in a bad way. The buildings around a central square are wide open, windows smashed and doors missing. At first glance nothing much remains, and yet beneath the wreckage there are things worth checking out. In some rooms were the benching with line shafting underneath.

Evidence of needles were in most rooms.I had never seen as many as here. They were everywhere, on the benching, the stairs, the floors. Skag hell.

Tsukimaru threw me into a panic by disappearing from May 5th through 11th. Here is the email I wrote on the night of the 10th.

This evening, J, the informant I had thought to be bogus and non-existent, called me again and said she had the cat right now in their apartment on the 4th avenue. At least this time she didn't sound like she was on the latest party drug, but I still expected little from her. And the result was a mixed bag. It was a pleasant surprise to see her and her friends actually existing with good intention, but the cat looked very, very different from Tsukimaru. When I thanked the group of girls and tried to leave, one of them asked if I wanted to adopt her. I felt sorry for the cat, but I could not think of bringing another cat home, especially one looking like Tsukimaru. A few hours later, a female student I knew called me and said she might have Tsukimaru at her 3rd avenue apartment. It was past 10 p.m. I flew my bike to her place, and just as I was afraid, I faced the same cat again. This time I touched the cat, and she smiled back bitterly about our odd relationship---or so I felt. The student and her roommate insisted on my taking her home, at least temporarily, and I had a harder time coming home alone. Speaking of adoption, the kind neighbors who took me to a nearby grassland to see a nearly perfect look-alike of Tsukimaru yesterday suggested me a similar plan during the drive home. I said no because I never wanted to have her owner (if existing) go through my experience since Friday. Yes, cats are mere animals, they are generally nice to touch, and in some ways exchangeable with each other, but this is something very different from borrowing shoes at a bowling lane, at least for me...

Things are already getting repetitive on the fourth day of my quest, and now I am developing a disturbing image of myself surrounded by dozen Tsukimaru-like cats in my basement and still printing flyers for the real one in tears.

I thought it might do some good to post this.

Missing person - these kind of signs really make me sad. What happened? Where is he/she? Why are they missing? Are they still alive? Did they run off and leave their families/friends behind? There are a lot of question that need answering and I really hope that they will be found or find their way home. My heart goes out to all the families that are searching for someone they love and I sincerely hope that it will never happen to me.
