A bit of a duck out of water with this subject matter. Undecided between 2 images as to which one to share. Curious to know which one, if either you prefer...

My attempt at the classic shot of St Paul's from the Millennium Bridge. I've seen this done a lot better by many other photographers but it was great fun to have a go.

It's hard to believe this bridge has been open for nearly 20 years, and 20 years ago we were all gearing up for the big 2000. How time flies.

Wishing you all a fabulous weekend :)

This was taken on a day when I was trying out some long exposure shots, this one being a third of a second shutter speed, which can be seen from the blur in the movement in the people on the bridge. An image that has been photographed about a half a million times (and that's only in the last month!) but what jumped out at me was the sky in this composition. Looking down the Millenium Bridge to the beautiful St Paul's cathedral in the distance. A truly London shot.

The Millennium Bridge is a pedestrian bridge spanning the River Liffey in Dublin, joining Eustace Street in Temple Bar to the north quays. Lights have been recently added.

The bridge alignment is such that a clear view of St Paul's south façade is presented from across the river, framed by the bridge supports. The bridge has been the first pedestrian river crossing over the Thames in central London for more than a century. It has two river piers and is made of three main sections of 81, 144 and 108 metres with a total structure length of 325 metres. And it can support a working load of 5,000 people at one time.

I have so many pictures of this bridge from every angle - I never seem to tire of it.

I'll catch up with you all soon.

Happy clickin' 😊

Took this photograph of the setting sun on Sunday the 10th of February 2019. The Sunday quayside market can be seen on the right of the shot, closing down for the week.

Back to the capital and back to the beautiful Millennium bridge, we were slightly disappointed that it wasn't fully lit up but I managed to gain enough light from the 10 second exposure to give the bridge some resemblance of light.

Well done to great friend Mark for standing so perfectly still for the exposure enabling me to capture him as solid in the shot rather than ghostly

Looking over the Quayside, been a while since I did any night photography so had a wander last night

This is a brilliant place to visit on wind free days as you can catch the best photographs. In this panorama from left to right is the Baltic, Sage, Millennium Bridge and the River Escapes boat.

An image I took years & years ago when I first started getting into photography. Found recently on an old hard drive and re-edited. Pretty pleased with it after all these years.

Love this part of London, full of angles juxtaposed architecture and figures, well just everywhere!

St Paul's Cathedral from Millennium Bridge.

This shot was taken a few years ago on the Millennium Bridge in Newcastle. I hope you like the shot, please let me know if you do. Thanks and have a great weekend, Graham.

Normally this place's packed with early-bird tourists and

workers heading to the city.

The London Millennium Footbridge, is a steel suspension bridge for pedestrians crossing the River Thames in London, linking Bankside with the City of London. Construction began in 1998, and it initially opened in June 2000.

Londoners nicknamed it the "Wobbly Bridge" after pedestrians experienced an alarming swaying motion on its opening day. The bridge was closed later that day and, after two days of limited access, closed again for almost two years while modifications and repairs were made to keep the bridge stable. It reopened in February 2002.

Taken from the Millennium Bridge in London. So many sunsets in London this Autumn have been magical.

St. Paul's Cathedral, from across the Thames.

One of my favorite (or favourite, given the context!) spots on the Thames Path Walk, with views of St. Paul's Cathedral, Millenium bridge on one side, the London Bridge and the Tower Bridge on the other. The Shakespeare's Globe, right behind with an array of contemporary restaurants overlooking the Thames add to the ambience.

I've walked past this spot many times, but never get tired of the views on offer.

Never tire of the ever changing views of Newcastle/Gateshead Quayside

A serene sunrise on the South bank, just the sound of the early morning joggers and the peregrines calling from their perch high up in the chimney tower at the Tate.

I took this picture of St Paul's cathedral in London a few months ago. Finally I got around to editing it, so happy I did.

The Millennium Bridge (2001) with the Tyne Bridge (1928) in the background. The Sage Centre can be seen to the left.
