Amandier /Prunus: Taken with a Nikkor 50mm f/1.4D AF + 20mm extension tube

I wanted to make a micro version of the Forgotten Temple as well as make instructions for it. The instructions are free on my rebrickable page (link in bio) So if you want to make this or the Micro Hunters Dream for yourself you can. If you are just curious to see how they go together you are more than welcome to take a look.

I do want to make instructions more often for my builds but they do take a lot longer to finish and test. I also like to use odd pieces in my builds that aren’t available digitally which limits a lot of options for making builds, so unfortunately I won’t make instructions for every build I post.

I’m wanting to make micro versions of every show build I make because I have to take them apart pretty quickly afterwards and the shows are pretty much the only time I get to see them fully assembled. I do like to keep little souvenirs from the show builds but a tiny version is a nice little display piece to act as a reminder of what I have made. Who knows maybe after 50 years I can just display the micro builds instead…

To get started into the LEGO season 2019, I decided to build a small one at first. Primarily to continue practicing photography and image editing. Happy new year everybody!

All of these "micro" (cannot fit minifig(s)) spacecraft were designed on Lego Digital Designer.

The SuperLight Fighter is an extermely fast and maneouverable, yet weak craft. Equipped with two laser cannons and two ion engines similar to those of the Y-Wing. (Features folding front and rear landing gear)

Playing with some new colors (New for me at least) and microfigures.

Miniature flowers on the forest floor. Taken with a 100 mm macro lens

This micro lumber harvester is based loosely on a Caterpillar 538.

It was built to fulfill the requirements for "RRT Extraction unit - Lumber" in the ongoing DA4 game. The bulldozer is present to fullfill one of the requirements for the diorama - it is a piece of firefighting equipment (dozers are used to build fire lines to fight wildland fires).

To fill the remaining requirment, I include the following song:

Brewtopian Lumberjack Song:

We wake up in the morning

and have a mug of beer.

We eat a pound of bacon

and pack up all our gear.

We head out to the forest,

where we work a long, hard day.

Chopping, cutting, hauling -

That's how we earn our pay.

But when the sun goes down,

we head back to the base,

where a giant keg is waiting

so we can get sh*tfaced.

Oh, beer, beer, beer,

it gets us through our day.

Beer, beer, beer,

There is no other way.

This was only about 4mm long

Myself and @MasterBrickSeparator (on Instagram) have made a little series of Micro Star Wars Duels, some of them based on duel sets, some of our own invention, all very small and around £/€/$ to build! We’ve both shared free instructions to all of them on Rebrickable, mine are under my Micro Bespin Duel MOC, MBS’s are under his Micro Lightsaber Duels MOC, links below. We hope you like them, thanks for looking! rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-67259/ron_mcphatty/micro-bespin-.... rebrickable.com/mocs/MOC-75680/MasterBrickSeparator/micro...

An entry into the micro castle category of the CCC. Nothing elaborate here, another micro version of one of my previous builds: as there's been a ton of really strong entries to this category already, and I'm not interested in the prize.

So mainly, just a fun quicky. Still have a few more entries to come :)

Minnesota is known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes". In reality, there are 11,842 lakes of 10 acres or more. There are so many lakes in fact, that there are over 200 'Mud Lakes', 150 'Long Lakes' and 120 'Rice Lakes'....MN is the main producer of wild rice in the US.

The "lake" in the foreground of this photo measured about 3 feet wide and a few inches deep, so it obviously doesn't classify as a lake. It does sit on the rocky shore of an actual lake that stretches out to an island in the distance, which made for an interesting photo.

There is already a 'Tiny Lake' in Northeastern Minnesota, so instead I will name this vast body of water, 'Micro Lake'

I've had this together for a while and am in desperate need of bley tiles, so I thought I'd photog it before it dies.

Same spider as in the previous shot, but at a wider angle. To me, she looks kind of like a tank on hilly terrain.

Glass Beach in Fort Bragg California is a pretty interesting place, with surprising beauty. It's funny that a collection of worn-down garbage can draw this kind of attention, but here we see that art and beauty can emerge in surprising forms.

The brown container box offered itself to be used as a cargo space for a small van. With this idea, it was obvious to build my third vehicle in the way of the first and second one.

Yay! time for fun with Micro Nerdly!

I thought I'd try something different tonight and go for a micro nature scene. I really like the result.

This is a micro version of my Manaor Castle MOC, for Creations for Charity.

This leafhopper (thank you Ampro for the id.) was so small ( about 3mm) that I almost did not see it with the naked eye.

It's not a particularly good image, I know, but considering my efforts in taking it as the minute bug kept moving round and round, I think that I could not get it sharper! I still want to share it with you as I think that it is worth seeing the amazing micro world !

They move through a city and leave only ghosts...

A selection of micro scale farm equipment.

I originally designed the basic tractor to sit on the micro farm layout I built for Brickfest 2005. Later that year I decided to see what I could build to go with it.

Instructions can be found at truedimensions.com/lego

These do require custom lengths of flexible tube to be cut, for the tractor muffler, engine detail and some of the wagon attachments.

June - October 2005

I recently designed and built this shiny new micro Lego AT-AT. I'll be sending one of these to each of the Grab Bag winners of my recent Teepocalypse contest!

The Lipstick Building is a 453-foot tall skyscraper located at 885 Third Avenue, between East 53rd Street and 54th Street, across from the Citigroup Center in Manhattan, New York City, United States. It was completed in 1986 and has 34 floors.

Happenstance build while sorting through the curved slopes and found these dark red in quantity. Not perfect but it will do for now until something better comes up...
