Micro Guile vs M. Bison
I like to think of the hours and dollars I spent on this game at the arcade as an investment.
Into what I'm not entirely sure...
I have fond memories of the satisfaction in performing a "magic throw" or going from "stance" into "handcuffs". It was incredibly challenging at the time :)

I put these together very quickly for a collab at Brickworld. They were a great deal of fun to build, and it was cool to see how I could make each one unique.
One of the carnival rides at last weekend's Greek Festival in Edgewater in Chicago sponsored by the St. Andrew's Greek Orthodox Church on Sheridan Rd. and Hollywood Blvd. Fun times!
a portrait of this tiny brown violetear hummingbird who let me get very close to him/her with a macro lens
This is my entry into the Micro Sci-fi City category for Space Jam 2018, a moonbase! This also doubles as part of a collaboration with my LUG, IowaLUG. (We’re currently remodeling the website, but I figured I would include the link anyways.) I tried to make the buildings very non-standard and give most of them interesting shapes, and I think I achieved this. There is a tunnel system so that all of them are connected and none of the inhabitants get sucked out into the vacuum of space. ;-) One of my favorite easter eggs is if you’ve been following me for a decent amount of time, you would recognize my SHIP that I made this past September; I finally got around to making a micro version of it for the landing pad! Personal achievement, bigtime. ;-) The buildings are left to right, front to back:
Rover Garage
Communications Tower
Power Plant
Landing Pad
Residential Complex
Office Tower
Research Institute
The build dimensions are 132x68 studs, and an estimated 8,000 parts. More detailed pictures are in my photostream. Thank you!

This micro lumber harvester is based loosely on a Caterpillar 538.
It was built to fulfill the requirements for "RRT Extraction unit - Lumber" in the ongoing DA4 game. The bulldozer is present to fullfill one of the requirements for the diorama - it is a piece of firefighting equipment (dozers are used to build fire lines to fight wildland fires).
To fill the remaining requirment, I include the following song:
Brewtopian Lumberjack Song:
We wake up in the morning
and have a mug of beer.
We eat a pound of bacon
and pack up all our gear.
We head out to the forest,
where we work a long, hard day.
Chopping, cutting, hauling -
That's how we earn our pay.
But when the sun goes down,
we head back to the base,
where a giant keg is waiting
so we can get sh*tfaced.
Oh, beer, beer, beer,
it gets us through our day.
Beer, beer, beer,
There is no other way.
In landing mode while I wait for stand parts. Both wings rotate independently, the landing gear is easily swapped for the stand, and best of all (if I do say so myself) I’ve managed to make all colour schemes buildable! I had a design in my head for quite some time to make the micro bots from Big Hero Six, and I just barely put them together. I only made three that are legally made, and have a few more that use illegal connections, or no connections at all.
I hope you guys enjoy them, and if you are going to design, please give credit. I don't normally ask for this, but it would be nice.
Canning Dock
Opened in 1737 as the Dry Dock, a protected tidal basin providing an entrance to Old Dock.
In 1832, it was officially named Canning Dock after the Liverpool MP George Canning.
The dock would have initially served ships involved in the trans-Atlantic slave trade.
Abandoned as a commercial shipping facility in 1972 due to falling traffic and the rising cost of dredging.
Restored in 1983, providing access to the Canning Graving Docks, which are part of the Merseyside Maritime Museum.

Daffodil
Former Mersey Ferry MV Overchurch, later Royal Daffodil, now the floating restaurant/bar Daffodil.
As Overchurch, the ship was built by Cammell Laird for Birkenhead Corporation in 1962 to operate the Birkenhead to Liverpool Ferry Service.
Following the creation of the Merseyside Passenger Transport Executive, both Birkenhead and Wallasey Ferries were merged to form Mersey Ferries.
Overchurch was extensively rebuilt at Manchester Dry Docks in 1999 and renamed Royal Daffodil.
The rebuild was intended to make the vessel suitable for coastal cruises to Llandudno Pier; however, these trips did not materialise, and she remained in service on the River Mersey.
Withdrawn from service in 2012, she was laid up at Birkenhead until sold in spring 2019 to Liverpool City Sights Ltd.
An extended period of refubishment followed, in which the ship's engines and machinery were removed to create an event space in the engine room.
In November 2024, the ship was towed to Canning Dock and opened as a floating restaurant in December 2024.

Brocklebank
One of five motor tugs built by W. J. Yarwood & Sons Ltd, Northwich, between 1962 and 1965 for Alexandra Towing Co. Ltd, Liverpool.
Launched in 1964 and completed in February 1965. She was mainly used for ship handling at Liverpool, but had occasional duties at Heysham, Larne and Barrow.
In 1989, she was purchased by Merseyside Maritime Museum.
In November 2025, Brockleban was at Cammell Laird, Birkenhead, for essential restoration to its steel hull.
Restored and on display in Canning Dock from January 2026.

Liverpool Hilton Hotel
This 4-star hotel enjoys views over Liverpool’s historic docks.
Minnesota is known as the "Land of 10,000 Lakes". In reality, there are 11,842 lakes of 10 acres or more. There are so many lakes in fact, that there are over 200 'Mud Lakes', 150 'Long Lakes' and 120 'Rice Lakes'....MN is the main producer of wild rice in the US.
The "lake" in the foreground of this photo measured about 3 feet wide and a few inches deep, so it obviously doesn't classify as a lake. It does sit on the rocky shore of an actual lake that stretches out to an island in the distance, which made for an interesting photo.
There is already a 'Tiny Lake' in Northeastern Minnesota, so instead I will name this vast body of water, 'Micro Lake'
